I don't go to the gym to lose weight. I go to the gym to stay fit. There's a difference. No calorie deficit will make me fit. But exercising will. And I like feeling like I've accomplished something.

That's an awesome progress! Congrats with that!

And as an example, I had a bad day today. Ate way too much and was feeling bad. But thankfully I had friends here, that were willing to hear me complain, help me up, dust me off and tell me that I'm not a failure and to keep going.

Are you weighing your food?
-
There is some calorie amount I think. At least in 0.5L bottles. If the calorie amount is within that limit ( I think it's 4 or less) the company can brand it as "Zero Calories".

I'm about to start week 3. I'm using a treadmill. What I found helpful was to not go too fast. It's easier to increase speed with time than exhaust yourself half way through the session. And for me the speed increased a little almost every day.Good luck :)

I bought this one and it works great. If the plate I put on the scale is too big so I can't see the screen I just put a bowl on the scale and the plate on top so it's high enough for me to see the screen clearly. No problem at all. http://amzn.to/1jDYZnT

Of course not. Some people prefer doing this on their own or with only a few people around and if that works that's great. But for me personally, having a group of friends made a big impact on my changes.

Thanks everyone for awesome replies. Gained even more of new, supporting friends today

And of course if anyone wants to add me as a friend, feel free to add

But feel free to add me anyway.

I always just think "if you bite it, write it" when someone is offering me something like that. And that makes me much less interested in eating something because I can´t be bothered the hassle of looking it up and logging it. :)
-
I´m weird and awesome. Does that work? ;)
-
Don´t worry. Slip ups happen to everyone. The best thing to do is to log it in your diary and move one. Just keep staying on track and you´ll be fine.

You don´t NEED to go to a gym, but for me it helps because I feel like I have more energy and that I´ve accomplished something. And that does a lot for my conscience when I´m having a treat. When I first started on MFP I just went for daily walks. Slowly but surely I added more distance to my walking route. Then when I felt…

Yes, didn´t feel as bloated and was finally able to get proper sleep and get rid of the habit of staying up all night. And got more energy and more positive attitude too :)

I just started this C25K this week and it is working well for me. It includes 5 minutes for warm up and 5 minutes for cool down. http://www.c25k.com/c25k_treadmill.html

Of course. I´m awesome and everybody should know me.

What about having some nuts? It doesn´t take much of them to get the calories up.

Extra virgin olive oil

I usually have mine set on "all meals" and "recent" and then it`s all there.

Thanks everyone for saving the life of my girlfriend. And mine too probably :D
