Someone once told me that if I wanted to lose weight, all I needed to do was go to bed hungry every night. Where I come from, that sounds like an eating disorder.

I snack all the time in between meals. My go-to snacks lately have been: greek yogurt with or without granola, carrots with hummus, an apple or banana with a tbsp of pb, a protein shake, a cheese stick and a serving of fruit.

Eat just like you normally would. One "bad" day won't make you fat, just like one "good" day won't make you skinny.

I do know what it's like to have a spouse who seems to want to go out to eat all the time! But most restaurants have a section devoted to lighter options, and especially if you're eating at a chain restaurant the meal should be in the database so you can log your food correctly. :)
