if you are having issues losing that last couple of kilos, it is most likely because you are overvaluing your exercise and undervaluing your food intake. try to compensate for that by reporting fewer exercise calories and more food calories.

try to work out more and stay at 1100 calories a day net. your metabolism will increase over the course of a few months and you'll start losing again.

you can do insanity with a calorie restricted diet.

you are most likely overvaluing your exercise calories and undervaluing your consumed calories. try this: when you eat what you think is a serving of something, record it as 1.5 servings. if you think you burned 500 calories on the treadmill, record 350. try that for a week and see if you still gain and then modify from…

if your plan is to weigh yourself every monday then you should stick to your plan. if you just weigh yourself on mondays but didn't really have a plan, then go ahead and enter it. the important thing is to stick to any plans you have. congrats on the weightloss, btw.

2 fiber one bars. get that fiber. or a couple handfuls of sunflower kernels. good snacks, high fiber.

i don't plan to have an easter dinner. it is easier for me to stay on target if i don't eat all the crap that my family makes.

best advice: just do it. don't talk about it, just do it.

protein shakes are an awesome way to help you gain muscle especially if you are trying to gain weight. you can use them as a meal replacement if you are trying to lose weight. but if you are on a calorie restrictive diet, you don't NEED them. just make sure your meals are well rounded. you can have a protein shake if you…

are collarbones something women want? i keep seeing it pop up. is that like the "in" look?

logging takes like 5 total minutes of your day.

i don't get the logic. if you can lose 82 lbs you can lose 100 lbs. 132 isn't even that light for someone 5'4" and female. but, you should set a lot of small goals and then work your way from there. try to lose 10 lbs first, then 15, then 22, etc. don't have a goal of 82 lbs right off the bat. you need to build up to 82…

sweating is your body's way of coping with temperature increases (either from climate temperature or exercise). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perspiration when you work out, your body uses calories for energy and that produces heat, thus your body's temperature rises. if it rises enough, your body will begin to sweat so…

all fat people are judged.

nuts would help. a serving of nuts is hundreds of calories usually and has plenty of fat and protein. for carbs you could try fruit.

sounds like you are sick. i mean, you "feel" sick, so you are probably just mildly sick. give it a week and see what happens then.

try to take a nap later on and then exercise tonight a few hours before bedtime.

first off, you might want to try getting a real body fat measurement from a doctor. scales are error prone when it comes to body fat detection. next, if you lose weight your body fat percentage will decline. if it is really bothering you, lose weight until you get to 16-18% and then try to put on half a pound of muscle a…

nah, the reason i do it that way is so you see yourself achieving goals at the beginning quickly and then slowly work it up to larger goals. you could always do a mix of your way and my way, have small goals at the beginning, larger goals in the middle, and back to smaller goals at the end. i think it is important for…

i find that i can drink a few glasses of scotch (which is really strong but doesn't have a ton of calories) and it doesn't affect me too badly. beer is the real enemy to many people's weight loss goals. for one, it requires a lot of beer to get someone drunk. you drink 1 scotch and you are already buzzed. plus, scotch is…

best thing you can do is if you want to lose 50 lbs, make small goals and not make 50 lbs the only goal (50 lbs can be the overall goal of your weight loss). make each mini goal bigger than the last goal. Like(cumulative) goal 1: 3 lbs goal 2: 5 lbs (8 lbs total) goal 3: 9 lbs (17 lbs total) goal 4: 15 lbs(32 lbs total)…

change your goal to 10 more lbs and then it won't be the last 5 lbs and then you'll get stuck after you lose that 5 lbs. logical, right?

going by heart rate is more accurate but i always use the lower value so that i can make sure i don't overeat.

2 causes: 1. you are consuming too many calories. 2. too much sodium and/or not enough water.

you can do it. we can all do it.

are the cravings invaders from the north like the scandinavians or are they more like the barbarians from the east of Greece. you have to fight them differently depending on their country of origin. like, you could probably get away with fighting the northern invaders with nothing but battle axes and swords, but the…

i ate 6 pieces of pizza, drank a can of coke, and had 2 glasses of chocolate milk, and ended up 100 cals under because i burned about 900 calories at the gym today. if you "mess up" just walk on the treadmill or ride a stationary bike for a couple hours. what hurts you is sitting around doing nothing physical.
