Yeah, I was of the understanding that 5X5's were better for beginning, and getting to a particular point, then once you stop seeing gains (after a doing a few deloads) then you should switch to 5/3/1's, however I'm far from an expert.

Spinach in the Omelette... that sounds tasty! I usually just do cheese, peppers, turkey sausage.. I substitute the turkey sausage for fish if I'm feeling adventurous..

Go ahead and do ITT Tech. You'll end up doing computer stuff in 20 years anyways. This way you'll have expierence. Stay away from married ladies.. unless you're their husband. When your grandmother offers to pay for a trip to Europe, you should go, even if you don't really want to right now.

I have not done my regular exercise routine in a month.

6'3, 255lbs 37 years old. Doing Stronglifts 5X5 I'm at Squat: 140lb OHP: 90 DL 155 (1X5) Bench: 110 Row: 125. That was back May 12th & 14th.. that was also the last time I lifted.. man, it's been a month. I gotta start back up!

I'm about 6'3, and started off around 290. I noticed about 30 lbs in or so, Not so much in my stomach, but in my face (side-by-side pictures). I did have others notice my weight loss before, and I even noticed that my size 44 pants were now loose, and I could fit comfortably into some size 40's & I could wear some 2XLT…

Yeah, when I first started I just used tennis shoes (I have big feet so I didn't clip them into the pedals). Towel is a must and water. The instructor should tell you how to set up your bike. If you don't want to get the fancy pants yet, go to wal-mart and buy a bicycle seat cover. But even with it, your butt will hurt.…

I second http://stronglifts.com/5x5/ however as was mentioned, they do not allow some lifts (saw a "Do not deadlift" picture in another forum).
