The way you described yourself, is exactly how I'm built as well. Only at 148, I would look dead!! 165 is as low as I can go. Maybe it's all in that 1" as I'm 5'11". At 165, I would probably be a 10, but would be thrilled with a 12!

I try to drink extra water if I ate a lot of sodium, like today. I really felt it with my lunch...Chinese. It is amazing how you react when you haven't had it in a while. At least the food was chicken, cashews and veggies. :) I skipped the fried rice!

Just checked another site and it says 506. :) I ended up having French dip with steamed veggies, homemade frozen yogurt and 1 drink. Still under calories. :)

I eat Almonds with sea salt and 1 serving (1/4 cup) only has 110mg of salt. I think that is very reasonable for a snack. It also helps with my cravings for salt and crunch. I could have written this post. I've only been eating healthier and exercising for 2 weeks and I'm down 3.2lbs. Granted, I have a LOT to lose. It tends to come off of obese people at a faster rate then someone who only has 10-20lbs (just throwing out a random number) to lose.

I am onky drinking when thirsty. Sometimes if I think I am getting hungry, I try water first to see if I was actually thirsty. For ME, right now, it seems the more water I drink, the more I crave it. I do not want to start habit of snacking at night "just because I can". I am not hungry, so why eat? Lots of things sound delish, even when not hungry, doesn't mean you should eat them!

I use Great Value flavor packs, but I use about 1/2 pack to a 20oz bottle, so it is diluted. TMI, my pee has never been so clear! LOL

This is me to a T today. I am also 5'11"!! I average 1200-1400 a day and today I hit 1056? My son is making a smoothie right now, and while it sounds scrumptious, I am being good and drinking my water. Too late in the day for me to have calories.

Um, I am thirsty! And I cut out pop and cutting back on wine. Got to drink something! I have one cup of coffee in the AM and everything else is water. I am about ready to crack open another 20oz bottle and will hit 80oz before the end of the day.

I lied. I looked at my very limited diary and it ranged from 976 to 1800 (couple drinks!). It appears I normally range 1200-1400.

And here I am wondering if I should have a snack since I have only had 1033 calories so far. Afraid to eat too little!! I normally eat closer to 1500, but today ended up at 1033. I am obese though, so the occasional day like today is OK as long as I didn't do it regularly? P.S. OP is from 2012. ;)

There are many times the scale doesn't move, but the measurements change. That's why it's so important to not get so focused on the scale, but also take measurements.

Are you taking measurements? If you look smaller, it sounds like you are toning, but not losing. Which, I think is ultimately better given your history with the gastric sleeve.

Bread. The idea of cutting back sweets doesn't cause me to break out in a sweat, even though I do love them. But the idea if giving up my beloved ciabatta rolls is enough to send me over the edge! LOL Trying to limit myself to 1-2 a week.

I have been squeezing into my size 20 jeans for a while, refusing to buy a size 22. Yesterday, my 20's were comfortable. I have only been actively making changes for under 2 weeks! I would look smokin' in a size 12 at my height and bone size. Let's do this together!!

It is. And not letting the scale railroad you. Like this morning, I am up 2 pounds. I know it is water retention. We were at the lake yesterday and while I didn't eat great, I was still under my calories...it is the sodium and diet pop kicking my *kitten*. So I am sitting here this morning enjoy in a large bottle of water!
