You are amazing!! First off, English is your 3rd language?? I really had no idea and cannot tell at all! You truly are an inspiration and I hope I can look like your after photo someday. What an amazing change while doing it the right way. Health is my biggest focus, and I agree with every word you said. I am so glad I…

Hi! I'm Carissa and live in St. Louis. I've run 3 half marathons and will be starting training for my 4th which is in April. After that, I'll be training for my first full (October 2012)!!! I'm pretty excited but also VERY nervous about the full :)

Had a whole grain bagel for breakfast!

I'm in St. Charles...originally from Jefferson City though so didn't go to high school here ;)

Count me in!!! My goal for September is 140 miles :)

Great job!! You can absolutely do it! I've done two and am starting training for my third on Monday. My biggest suggestion is research half marathon training plans online - there are a TON of them. They have ones for beginners, intermediate, and advanced so you can pick whichever one you're comfortable with. Once you pick…

I am hypo too, was diagnosed in December and have been on Synthroid since. Weight loss is definitely possible, just a little more challenging than others. All of you feel free to add me for support!

You're diary looks really light! They say you should eat a minimum of 1200 calories a day and just looking at your past couple of days, you're around 650-1000. I personally would increase my intake if I were you. I'm not a expert or anything, so just giving you my opinion that you should start eating more or your body will…

Thanks everyone! It's behind the knee as in the back of the leg...right behind the knee and very top of the calf. And I'm not sure that I clearly explained that it feels like it's tight and I'm pulling something when I straighten my leg. It isn't constant....I'm fine when I sit down, but it's awful when I first stand up…

Toast with peanut butter and/or a banana - or a handful of almonds or part of a Cliff bar...whatever I can grab pretty quickly and isn't too heavy.

I have both 30 day shred and ripped in 30 and have never done either for 30 days straight...I use them to switch up my routine a bit and take a break from running to get in some circuit training. I've found them very effective even using them a couple of times a week or month.

I'm in!!

McAlister's or Panera are my favorites!!

Great job!! 2 llbs a week is great though that will probably slow down as you get closer to your goal. One to two pounds a week is a healthy weight loss. You're doing great!

Log it as circuit training :)

I like Nike dri fit combo shorts!

great job girl!! keep up the awesome work :)

I have it and have been doing it off and on for the past couple of weeks - alternating it with running. I love it too!! Jillian knows how to kick your butt and you'll definitely see results! I've done 30 day shred before and loved it too. I want to go through the full 30 days, but can't seem to make myself...would love to…

oh my gosh, I totally do this!! Well, not all the time, but I have before! Every little bit counts :)

Sending request now!!

Have you ever had your thyroid checked out?? I experienced a big weight gain last year along with some other things like fatigue and talked to my doctor about it and she recommended we check out my thyroid. After taking a blood test, she told me that I'm slightly hypothyroid which causes your metabolism to be really slow…

Greek yogurt for sure!!

Not sure about the course yet - I don't think it's been released and since it's new, I don't have much info. Though I think it will be around downtown area which is where my last two halfs have been and it's an awesome course with some hills of course since it's the midwest :) Let me know if you're serious about it and…

I eat clean by eating whole foods - fruits, veggies, meat, etc. as well as eating foods that I can read the nutrition label and recognize every ingredient (i.e. no chemicals) like Kashi for example.

Praying for them!

Bump! Would love to know how this works...any recommendations on reading up on it? I've heard gluten-free is a good way to lose weight and am very interested in trying it out.
