My co-worker is selling Girl Guide cookies. It's the season for the thin mints. (Here in Canada we don't get the multiple flavours. Fall is thin mints, spring is the vanilla/chocolate.) Must. Resist. I can't just eat 2 a day. Two can easily turn into 6-8. The temptation is strong.

If you need motivation - have someone take a photo of you. Ugh. My nephew turned 16 on Monday. My SIL took photos of us together as he opened his gift from me, I hate how I look! I got rid of most of my junk food in my kitchen yesterday. I should have printed those photos and stuck one to the side of my fridge.

September got away from me. I lost my motivation and haven't found it back yet. I am off from work today and tomorrow and am working on getting myself motivated to get out the door right now to run (I need to wait a bit as I just finished breakfast.)

@quilteryoyo Fridays leave me little time to run. I take a shorter lunch break to leave earlier, to get home and get ready for the kids program I work in at my church in the evenings. I don't get home until close to 9pm and most nights still need supper at that time

It rained at lunch! Since I can't take a hot shower after a rain run at work, that's why I didn't go. It was the only time I had to go yesterday I did do some yoga last night. Maybe that's why the soreness across my shoulders is worse today then yesterday.

I should have looked at a calendrer for September before I set a goal of 15 runs. The most I run is 4 times in one week. There isn't enough weeks in September to make that goal. I am going to drop it to 12 runs. Sept 3 - 4km 1 of 12 runs completed for September

The trails re-opened in my area yesterday so I went for a trail run today. It’s takes me 3km to get there. I ended up running 10km this morning. I checked and the last time I ran that distance was May 21, 2024. I felt surprisingly good. The river I go by (and over) is so low. We need more rain!!
