so far so good. When it comes to weight loss, being busy seems to be an easy way to go for me:smile:. Except that I actually prefer a slower paced life. oh well ! just do the best i can each day. At least the scale is going down.

Definitely agree that stopping insanity was the right thing to do. I for one certainly don't heal as quickly as I used to. and prevention is much better than cure. Life is still very busy so the weight is still going down. I could try to improve on my weekend snacking but in all im happy, and i dont really feel motivated to change because its just too much effort and the improved rate of weight loss would not be big enough to justify the effort. I guess that the current plan is good…

I love Baking. I have to avoid it because I would go way over on my calories. But sounds like taking them to work and then managing to avoid them is a win/win.

Ive been busy which makes it easier as I'm more active and have less time for mindless snacking. Im Still slowly losing. I would like it to be faster - I feel like I am going to so much effort, and I want to see results !!! But ultimately as long as the scale is going in the right direction then thats ok.

started to slip on the weekend, and still slipping now. not good. but i dont feel motivated to change. i remember one time writing in here all the reasons why i wanted to do this. I dont have time now but might come back to do that as i think it helped. *sigh* must shake myself out of this.

Welcome back :smile: I did much the same - gaining back about 1/3 of the weight i had lost. It took a lot of work but i am (mostly) back on track and slowly losing again. In the same person is calories burned at a given heart rate consistent (even if you don't know exactly how many calories) ? eg I run on a treadmill and keep my heart rate at a certain number for 30 mins compared to me swimming with my heart rate at the same number for 30 mins.…

I'm going to preempt my weekend CICO struggle by starting my Saturday with a really long walk. Not exactly what I meant when I said 'come up with a plan' - I was after a way to control my calories in rather than increase my calories out but since I've got time today...why not ? It buys me another week to figure out a plan.
