What I do for strength training is search in the cardio section and from there you can put in your minutes and calories burned for your strength training. I think MFP doesn't count the calories burned during strength training because it makes a difference what exercises you are doing and what size weights you are using so…

I just joined a gym and wear my own HRM and noticed too that I burn more fat by strength training than cardio. I guess it is a good thing.

I try and plan my meals in the morning or night before. Most of the time I know what I am having for dinner and if I do. I can actually complete it as early and before noon. Although, it can be subject to change throughout the day. Lol I would think that is why they complete their diary so early.

I would say prepared means it is with all the ingredients listed to make it for eating. I think that is why they give you dry too.

I use the Polar F6 also. I love it. One of the features I like is that it tells you the fat % you burned. I have had mine for a while and I paid around $90 online. I had to replace the battery once I have had it so long. My husband changed it for me. I didn't need to send it away like they said to and it works fine again.…

I thought it would be great to get a scale the gave me my body fat and water but honestly I don't even pay attention to that part of it. I would get one that is digital to the tenth. You can go online and check the reviews on them in your price range before you buy one. Good Luck.

I wouldn't count anything with caffeine in them as liquid. Diet caffeine free soda or decaffinated coffee or tea would be counted. I wouldn't count any more than half though. Weight Watchers use to say that. . The best would be good old fashion plain water.

I know it is easier said than done but don't base your success with just the scale. We are always looking for the scale to go down. You are probably loosing inches and that is also being successful.

I know they say you shouldn't weigh everyday but I do because it keeps me on track. Although I only count my true weight once a week. I weigh myself at the same time and day.
