  • You could try making soup and adding to sauces but how about a smoothie. The magic bullet has some recipes that you can put fruits and veggies in there and can't taste the veggies. Good Luck.
  • I agree with you. Mine is private as well. I also know what I should or should not be eating. I would rather go to a nutrionist or RD to get advise if I need it. I am sure people are trying to be helpful but they are not experts but actually could be helpful to some because some people have no clue how to eat healthy. I…
  • Sometime I edit it but it won't change for some reason. Maybe I need to change the name of something.
  • I know I get so frustrated with the data base too. So many of the same items all different. I will add it myself if I have the nutritional label. Sometimes I just scan it with the bar scanner from my phone but sometimes that is incorrect too. I don't think people should add a food to the data base unless they are putting…
  • I use to. I have always been successful with the past plans. I am a lifetime WW member but I am one of the members that the new PointPlus Program was not working for. I was double tracking for a while on here and found I wasn't eating enough calories which may have caused my plateau. I was getting all of my healthy checks…
  • Sounds great. Will be trying it. Thanks for sharing.
  • What fantastic news!!! Congratulations on your weight loss!!! Keep up the great work.

  • My HRM is always lower than the eliptcal. Make sure all your setting are correct and the battery is good. For some reason once in a while mine goes to 00 so I make sure I keep checking it during my workouts.
  • Forgot to put I agree . I am still stuck on the dress thing too.
  • Are you kidding me. Her friendship would have been history at that time. She was trying to take your special day away from you by doing that. Wow. She is no friend.
  • I cut them lengthwise and sprinkle with a little cajun seasoning, drizzle with olive oil and throw them in my grilling basket and grill them on the outside grill. Mmmm. Yummy.
  • I agree with you too. I actually asked one of the trainers at the gym I go to this morning and he said I didn't have to eat them back. I explained how MFP works. He didn't seem to agree with that. I always get my 1200 calories in but not the 1200 NET calories.
  • I usually get the Turkey but I shared a foot long with my husband yesterday. We got the BlackForest Ham on 9 grain wheat bread with lettuce, tomato, and onion with a little FF Honey Mustard. He got cheese on his half too. I actually found the sub listed in the database along with some other combinations from Subway there…

  • There is one around me that is very stingy with everything too so we don't go to that one but the one we usually go to is pretty good. I would prefer making my own too.

  • Here is a website that you may find what you are looking for on. Good Luck. http://www.iefit.com/fitness/weight-lifting.htm
  • I think a lot of us just starting MFP have trouble eating all of our calories at first. I know I did and still do sometimes .It will help if you plan your meals and snacks ahead of time either first thing in the morning or the night before if you know what you will be having. That is what I do and it does seem to help me…
  • If all of your settings are correct and updated in your Polar. I wouldn't worry about what the other site numbers are. I have a Polar HRM also and that is all I go by. I don't even pay attention to what the machines at the gym say anymore.
  • If you have an Aldi by you. There is a flavored carbonated water they sell called Fruit Dazzle. It has zero across the board for calories, sodium etc. It sells for 59 cents a 1 Liter bottle. That might be an option for you. I like the lime one. Water does help with the skin. I have noticed the difference since I have been…
  • Me too. I was getting so many headaches from the yogurts I was eating with the artificial sweetners in them. I stopped eating them and started eating the real thing and the headaches stopped
  • I feel better too after reading all the comments. I am having the same problem. The inches are coming off because my clothes are getting so much looser but the scale is at a slow crawl.
  • Thank you for sharing this. I will be trying this one for sure.
  • I agree. Very well said. We are here to support and encouragement each other not to sugar coat things they are doing wrong and tell them it is ok. This is a lifestyle change and we will all eat things that aren't good for us from time to time. But like you said if you have a cheesburger 6 days in a row. That is not time to…
  • If you are getting steady weight loss at 1200 calories. I wouldn't change what you are doing until you reach a plateau. Why fix something that isn't broken?
  • The gym 3 days a week for mostly strength training and home 2 days a week.
  • Sweating is just a way for the body to cool down. You need to drink water to replenish what you have lost. I wouldn't count it as exercise .
  • Don't beat yourself up over what you did but concentrate on now. You spent time with your Mom and enjoyed yourself. Now it is a new day and you will get back on track with tracking and exercise. You have done so well and you will again. As for the scale. If it was me. I would get on the scale now because it would…
  • Lol. I met my husband when I was taking country dance lessons. Yeah, I think he was there to meet women. We danced a couple of times a week back then. Line dancing, two step, etc. Now. He has all kind of excuses why he can't . Although this past winter he did do line dancing in Florida when we are down there for the…
