Right  Welcome, and good luck to you.

Welcome. I lost a lot of weight on a low carb high fat diet but for me, it wasn't sustainable long term. I ended up gaining back everything I lost and then some. Feel free to add me as a friend if you like, and good luck with your journey.

mine is listed under Stationary Bike. Try that.

On the web version you can follow the path: My Home > Check In > click the "edit previous entries" link. That should allow you to change or delete any entry you've made. Good luck.

I think this would go toward the activity level you set for yourself since you do this regularly. It's part of your existing lifestyle instead of a purposeful change you are making to add exercise in. I guess if you have yourself set to sedentary then, yes, it would be something you need to add in as exercise because you…

This. Progresso saves the day more than once. Meanwhile, it must be nice to leave food at work and know it will be there the next day. I read the title of this thread and thought to myself "Leave food at work?!?! Foolish mortals." Of course our office is open 24/7 so someone is always creeping into someone else's food…

They haven't talked about a fourth term yet. Keep your eyes peeled for an announcement thread though. I would think in January if I took a guess.

Man, the pizza my co-workers are gorging themselves on sure does smell awesome. .............I'm glad there are no calories in scents.

Alright. Thanks for the opportunity. I'm afraid this group is not active enough to meet my needs. I just need a group of people who actively chat each day. I understand that not everyone requires this, so please don't take this as criticism. Best of luck to each of you!

Greek yogurt is the nectar of the gods. In an unrelated matter, Marvel Comics trump DC Universe, hands down.

haha yes! this is perfect. Except that from time to time, the pie wins (as pie should from time to time). I think for me the key is moderation. Complete deprivation leads me to binge. So here's my holiday battle plan: Be good. VERY VERY good all week long. I will try to leave an extra 100 cals each day. On the weekend, I…

That's just ridiculous. I honestly can't believe that you typed that. Casino is a far better film than Goodfellas.

Oh. Oh my. Naughty.

What helped me was to make sure I was adding in a lot of protein and healthy fats into my snacks and meals. They make me feel fuller for longer and that helped me over the initial hump.

We have room for one more Slytherin! If interested please PM westpancake or me. Thanks again!

Me too! I'd like to get to know the members a little so I can find someone with similar goals or interests. Any single working moms for instance? That's me. I work full time. I get shoddy internet signal at home, so I mostly text with my MFP pals. I'm also a g33k. I love RPGs and anything sci-fi. So if you read this and it…

That's a bit ambitious for me, but just this morning I was thinking I'd like to lose three by Christmas. I also see myself sliding a bit on watching my calories. It's so easy to do when there are sweets everywhere. Perhaps there will be some motivation here.

Thank you yoovie :) Spelling is clearly not a prerequisite. Participation, however, is. Please PM or reply for details! Thanks

Very true. In fact, from my own experience: I was diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I had a wake up call and committed to losing some of that weight. I lost 43 pounds and turned it completely around. Still way overweight, but no longer pre-diabetic and therefore much healthier. I could have stopped but my goals changed. I'm not…

It can be incredibly hard and intimidating to start losing weight. Plans can be derailed, challenges pop up, and real life gets in the way. Your perspective on yourself drastically changes once you start losing weight. Suddenly you can move more (and breathe while doing it) and you realize that while it's not exactly easy,…

There is a fine line between soreness and actual pain. She should be certain that she hasn't injured herself. If it's just soreness from using muscles that have been dormant for a long time, my advice is to go slow at first. The body adapts quickly, there is no need to injure herself in order to progress. Also, (for me at…

I like Stronglifts, and there is an app for smartphones to help you track your progress, which I also use and like.
