  • The things I will buy the most frequently are: Frozen strawberries+bananas, eggs, cacao powder or 90% chocolate, reduced sugar almond milk, strained soy yogurt, sliced chicken breast, baby leaf salad, tomatoes on the vine, porridge, venison sausage (pretty low in fat and high in iron!), sweet potatoes, lean mince and lean…
  • I really enjoy hazelnut milk - pretty much the only non-dairy milk I enjoy that also seems to be saving me calories. My boyfriend calls it 'nutella milk', haha, and I guess it's quite impressive that something that can be called that has so little energy in it. Almond milk only really works for me when flavoured, plain…
  • Edinburgh here! .)
  • I don't want to let my weight fuel my health anxiety. Also I honestly hate being the 'chubby friend'. The sad thing is even being fitter and eating better than my friend didn't really fix this, so I feel like I gotta push a bit harder. This issue did get better in the last couple of years though, but I think that's not…
  • I found that if I stir fry some veggies, then add semi-ready couscous into the pan and then finish it off with cherry tomatoes - squeezing the tomato juice into the pan first - the couscous will suck in lot of the veggie flavour. We also add some feta usually but I admit that's not the best way of keeping things healthy .D…
  • Hah, this really made my day! .D Thanks ,)
  • Tom Hiddleston. Ungh.
  • When I was younger I was also more attracted to older guys, but I guess that with age my man cravings are.. stabilising? I am 25 now and I think I wouldn't want to date anyone over 45, but the ideal would be somewhere between 30-35 I think!
  • Yes and so did my best friend. At least my cat kept it hiding most of the time.
  • Got mine from the states for my b-day from my dearest work husband, it's one of the new shiny Starbucks mugs from Kansas City!
  • Nice fruit salad with some jello cubes thrown in! It's yummy. Calories aside, taking a sheet of puff pastry and rolling cheese and spinach or whatever you fancy into it, cutting it into mini 'cinnamon roll-like' bits and baking those into tiny little perfections. Alternatively, without having to bake, just do the same(ish)…
  • So jealous ./ we only managed to see Queen play with Paul Rodgers which obviously isn't as great, still was an awesome experience. Admittedly Freddie passed away when I was three years old so I didn't really get a chance >.>
  • Bryan Ferry with his Jazz Orchestra last year was magnificent, but I also remember Sigur Ros and Kings of Leon were great and made me tear up a little >.>
  • I have the same problem and I hate it ./ I'd deffo rather look skinny in the evening than morning, erm .D I think it's a combination of my back getting too tired to maintain good posture after the long day and obviously food doing it's chemical business inside me x)
  • Weetabix = easy portion control! Same goes for Shredded Wheat. But if there's time then wholemeal pancakes with greek yoghurt and blueberries... yum.
  • I remember back in school a classmate of mine told me she thinks I only wear baggy clothes to hide all that fat. Looking back (pretty sure you know this feeling) it feels totally ridiculous because at that point I was nowhere near being fat. Later on in university a coursemate who was working for a women's magazine kept…
  • Thankfully most of my stuff is quite stretchy, therefore it still feels alright to wear it (I just feel a bit better in it! Win!). For dresses and loose-ish fits, I wear a wide waist belt over it, which is elastic so it worked before and works now. The only problem I have is things like trench coats, some of my older ones…
  • Having this much more protein (while imho retaining a really nice flavour) is a huge plus when you increase the exercise levels and suddenly have to up your protein intake, too!
  • I am health anxious like crazy, so I think that's the biggest reason for me... I used to have anxiety attacks like 'I bet my blood pressure is too high' or 'what if my arteries are being clogged by cholesterol RIGHT NOW'... I needed to get in control, so whenever this happens I can tell myself 'you go to the gym four times…
  • My breakfast is usually between 400-500 calories, if I go under that I am usually just too hungry all day.
  • I keep reading how 'exercise will fill you with endorphines, making the pain go away!' .... erm... no? I often go to the gym even during the worst days but I wouldn't do anything else, e.g. I wouldn't make myself go running outside or for a looong walk, and I think I definitely couldn't do something like Pilates during the…
  • 1/ drawing (and other ways of being creative) 2/ my Kat cave (very introverted and my home office is my happy place!) 3/ my family, including my boyfriend (sadly he's the only one living in the same country as me .( )

  • I just stick to tomato sauces and make them really vegetable heavy! Onion, garlic, courgette, tomatoes, mushrooms, sometimes even baby broccoli or eggplant cut into tiny pieces, some meat for protein (chicken would be the healthy choice I guess, but I am anemic so from my perspective beef is healthy too .P) et voila! Fresh…
  • I wear a G cup Panache sports bra and there is literally no movement going on in there while I work out - it's not the most comfortable thing in the world, I wouldn't ever be able to wear it all day, but I feel like it works well for this purpose. It was a lot of improvement from my last sports bra (apart from the ill fit…
  • A year and a bit ago I had similar problems, especially being really sleepy and moody in the afternoon, but also heart palpitations and restless legs, and it was all fixed by three months of serious iron supplements. Since then I am still going up and down with my iron levels (maybe my body has some troubles absorbing it…
  • Lot of my work colleagues seem to be doing it and from what I saw it doesn't look bad (also seeing my colleagues - it seems to work pretty well ,) ) ! I am considering starting with it once I get home from my travels, too!
  • I could have cereal for every meal! It used to be worse when I was still in uni though, would come home, be super tired, super poor, two bowls of cereal, done. It's a bit better these days! .D
  • Czech/Slovak/German!
