I think the real question is why is this asking about bigger women in bikinis? Why not bigger *people* in bikinis/speedos/not covering much? I have a bigger issue with the focus just on what women wear. Why do we point a huge spotlight on women and what they wear and their size?

Don't get caught up in labels. You should get your body fat percentage measured or speak to your doctor if you're worried about being unhealthy. It's difficult to say how fit/healthy someone is from a photo. Just make sure you're comfortable in your skin and healthy.

Now I'm thinking maybe I'm just a bad person. I don't know if it's a confidence issue. I think I'm confident, but I also see myself as being incredibly different from everyone else. Try to think of the big picture. Stick with things and you're going to be healthier as you get older. You wouldn't scrap a painting because you made a few smudges. You've got a whole lotta canvas left to make what you want with.

My NSV would be having to kick myself for throwing out all my smaller summer pants because I told myself I wouldn't ever fit into a size 11 again. Now all my summer pants are too big.

I'm a bit confused at what your asking. My policy has always been only buy clothing you can put on. If it's so small you can't put it on, then you don't want to drive yourself crazy waiting and obsessing over it not fitting for x amount of time.

It's hard to calculate how much you could lose. I'm not an expert or a dietitian, but if you keep up an exercise regimen and honestly log your calories it sounds like you will lose weight doing as you described. That's really all I can speculate. Is there a reason you need to know a timeline?
