I totally understand what you're saying. I work a minimum of 10 hours a day at a desk job. And I can't even go walk around really because I'm at a manufacturing facility in the middle of a corn field. So no where to walk to.... I've been trying to get better about planning out my meals and snacks so that I can get on a…

Trail mix bars, string cheese, yogurt and a little granola are things I like. Cinnamon sugar pita chips are my new thing at the moment. Not sure how healthy they really are lol - but it only takes a few to satisfy my sweet craving so I don't go crazy and eat the whole bag.

I think organic fruits and veggies look and taste better. That's usually the only kinds of food I worry about getting organic for when possible. Alot of times if I can catch things on sale its not usually a huge price difference between the regular and organic.

Hi! Welcome to MFP! :)

For me personally - since cutting back on the diet soda I am now eating less and not as hungry. I think for me though I always had the habit of having a snack with the soda so it would just start a cycle that never ended lol. I haven't compleatly cut it out but drink a lot less.

I buy a big bag of frozen fruit from Sam's Club and then portion it down in to baggies. Then when I want some fruit I pop one in the fridge or my lunch bag for it to defrost. I always wind up throwing fruit away if I buy it fresh. Just make sure to get frozen fruit without added sugar if you go this route.

5'3 - weigh 227 - size 16. When I was closer to 200 I was wearing a 14. Can't wait to get back down to the 14's and then keep going down!!

I was drinking ALOT of diet coke everyday. I have recently cut it back to 1 or 2 max a day. Hopefully I will get down to only having it occasionally. For me, I feel less bloated and have more energy since cutting back. I'm also less hungry. I think the artifical sugar thing of tricking your body to eat more is true.…

I just had the same issue. Changed the battery on the transmitter and it still read 00. Washed the strap and then it worked just fine.

I compleatly agree - when I first started changing my habits I bought a TON of veggies to fill the fridge. Not only could I not eat it all before it went bad - there was somethings that just went bad because I didn't want to eat them. I get a lot of frozen veggies and fruit. Then I can portion it down in to small freezer…

I am lucky in the fact that I have a rec center 3 blocks away so I walk down there on my lunch hour and work out.

Krema brand - nothing but peanuts in it (not even added salt) and I can buy it at Kroger when I get the rest of my groceries. Love it!

The machine usually says I burn about 100 calories more then what my HRM says.

$3.49 in central IL ~ I was able to fill up at $3.23 before it went up yesterday. I got a bike for Christmas and can't wait for it to warm up just a little bit more for me to use it everyday.

Same thing for me - my FT4 says I am burning lower then MFP or any other online calculator has said. But it just makes me try harder
