  • People's physical appearance is one thing I have never made fun of, especially since I have struggled with my own self image over the years. It is one thing to joke about someone's actions but not their physical appearance, IMO.
  • I get around 6 hours of sleep a night. I wish I could turn it into a solid 8, but no dice. I don't tend to get tired until about 1 or 2 in the morning and get up at 8 to get ready for work.

  • The little voice in our head can be our worst enemy. It can defeat us, before we even start. I appreciate the genuine positive reinforcement. The problem is you have to learn to accept it and believe that the person giving you the compliment is doing it under good pretenses.
  • Yes and facial expression says to me she is a fun person to be around.
  • I am sure many off us on here have experienced negative incidents that have helped lower our self esteem and make us feel less valued as a human being because of our weight issues. I think it is nice, when you have people dealing with similar issues and working towards the same goals to compliment you and encourage you.

  • I agree with some of the statements that when you have struggled with weight and self esteem issues, it is a uplifting experience to be told you look good. It reinforces the work you have put and to continue towards your goals.
