How many hours of sleep do you get per night?

Anywhere from four to six... Sometimes less, rarely more. I have a hard time falling asleep, and between work and kids, I have a hard time sleeping in!0

Generally, not enough. I'm a light sleeper who drinks too much caffeine and has too many loud distractions around the house. I am in bed about 7 hours a night, however a lot of that is me TRYING to sleep. Some nights don't get more than 4 or 5 hours and other nights I might get 7 or 8. On weekends, I try to make up for lost sleep but it never seems to work out.0

I've tried melatonin. It helps me relax, but doesn't necessarily guarantee I'll sleep better. Ir seems to work better some days than others.0 -
I get around 6 hours of sleep a night. I wish I could turn it into a solid 8, but no dice. I don't tend to get tired until about 1 or 2 in the morning and get up at 8 to get ready for work.0

I always get my 8 hours, usually 9. I have no kids and work flex time so I can make my own schedule to make sure I sleep.0

8 1/2 - 10 hours. More on the weekends. The less sleep I get, the more awake I am during the day sadly... I had to get up at 5:30 every morning when I was student teaching (had to travel) and I wasn't tired all day, but I really hated getting up so early.0

Usually seven, any less when I have to function and I turn into an ornery infant. It's unpleasant for anyone that has to deal with me.0

5-7 restless hours during the week and 7-8 on weekends. I'm always trying to cram too much into my day and then I can't shut my brain off once I do lay down.0

I get 8-9 on week days and 9-10 on weekends. I work & get up early as well. No kids. Sleep is important to me.0

Due to the type of work i do, it varies by case. But on average i would say 4 to 6 hours.0

I've been sleep deprived for years, I just hate going to bed - I have too many things to do that are more interesting.When I do go to bed I'm asleep in 6 minutes (which I believe is not a good sign) and get 6 hours sleep.
I just got a FitBit and its telling me my sleep gets interrupted and I'm getting more like 4 or 5 hours. That may explain why I'm not very functional in the morning.0 -
