ZUMBA! Great fun, no equipment needed besides a computer/DVD player or something. You don't even need much space and the kids will LOVE it. You can also modify the moves and still get a great workout. Shake it around the house while you're getting things done. I totally understand the not having time to do anything…

Yes, I think you probably could but I wouldn't call it 'healthy'. Also, better make sure you don't have any pre-existing conditions like prediabetes/diabetes or any other metabolic malfunction or your plan could equal suicide

Well done! You've made excellent progress :flowerforyou:

Denial! The weight crept on and I just kept saying 'Well, I don't look THAT bad, do I?' Then one day the damn mirror had the gall to answer: 'Yeah, you DO look THAT bad. So now what?' And here I am :blushing:

Thanks for posting, because I'm just as confused. What happens if eating back the calories is too difficult? Let me explain: When I began MFP, I would eat back all/almost all the calories because I had a wide variety of food to choose from. About three weeks ago, I was ordered -- by my doctor -- to eliminate ALL grains,…

Well, good luck then! Don't think of it as starting 'again'...think of it as 'picking up where you left off' -- you know the whole 'is the glass empty or half full?' business. What's diet chef food? :flowerforyou:

Red wine...mmmm! Thank God scientists are now talking about the health benefits it might have... Joking aside, I think the whole weight loss process is about moderation and planning, so if one doesn't exaggerate then a drink now and again shouldn't be a problem

People, PLEASE tell me how to upload pictures on the forums! I will quietly take any digs any of you might have on my lack of technological knowledge but JUST GIVE ME A CLUE...

I don't know how many times I've done that myself!

Hi! First of all, what's your max calories per day? Maybe you're not eating enough. You've mentioned you're working out... although there is a debate here on MFP on whether or not you should eat back your work out calories, if you daily goal is already low, you might need to eat at least some of them back.. Your profile is…

Caught ya, Charles!!! :flowerforyou: Seriously, though, an avocado is something you can add to just about ANYTHING. Anyone mention omlettes with fresh avocado on the side? Oh yeah...! You can slice along side any dish and change the whole experience. By the way, my husband isn't crazy about avocadoes either

Very very inspiring!

I only use FB to check up on my family who all live on the other side of the world... 2-4 minutes daily/max, but I'm here quite frequently: in the morning if possible and in the afternoon after I come home from work. If you would like another friend, please feel free to add me :)

Oh yeah! I can see the difference! Well done and keep moving :drinker:

Anyone else see the advertisement at the bottom of page 8? YOU TOO can get your photos 'enhanced' if you follow the link.

I agree. Well said.

Very true. I still have a daily calorie goal at 1200+exercise cal., but having been ordered by my doctor to limit/eliminiate simple carbs, I find I'm a lot less hungry and more energetic. So, as far as I can tell, it's what my calories are made up of tha makes the difference.

Yes!
