Yes I do! I still struggle with body image sometimes. I think it takes a while for our brains to catch up to the new us we see in the mirror. My confidence has increased dramatically since I started lifting 5 months ago. I still have my problem areas but I am proud of how far I have come.

I think you have other issues you need to address besides losing weight. You need to learn how to love yourself and the body you are in regardless of size. I don't think using trigger foods as motivation is such a great idea, not to mention, this is a lifestyle.. not a diet. Its crazy you say this because after my run tonight I was craving bananas! I did 4.1 miles tonight!! Great run tonight! No cramps.

That "stitch" was so awful... It felt like a gremlin was trying to break out of my side. I am trying not to beat myself up over it. I will try again on Tuesday. Hopefully I will be able to work through it if it happens again.

I can run a mile, My best time is 9.16 seconds. After that mile however, I am BEAT. I really want to run a 5k. Do you suggest that I keep running my miles and eventually I should be able to keep going to mile 2.. and then eventually 3.. or should I slow down and do the C25K app? Thanks!

I ran my first mile tonight in 10:11 seconds. It may be slow to other people but it was fast to me! I felt super fit after I did it too! Don't let some jerk ruin your stride! You are doing amazing. :)

Hi, please add me! I am 5'3 and weigh 150 pounds. My GW is 135. I want to stay 135 with a lower body fat percentage, so I have been meeting with a personal trainer twice a week. I am so glad I found this group! I feel its more discouraging sometimes when I am so close to goal but it feels so far away!
