  • If it is feeling like a job then one has likely not found the right activity for them. It doesn't have to be in a gym. I prefer to be outside. I consider fitness more play than work.   • I applaude you for knowing what you need and making the necessary changes. Trust yourself and continue to seek support.
  • Eat. Just don't go overboard. Prepare a sane snack to consume post party as drunken food choices are rarely the best. In the long run, it is about overall health and wellness. Also, if you feel ill the next day you are less likely to get out and get some exercise.
  • You may want to check out the magazine Psychology Today (free online) they have sections on health and diet. Sometimes the key to achieving our goals transcends simple mechanics (in this case food intake and energy output). Good luck!
