  • Basement, carpet and space to move. My dog is ever curious about what I am doing and wants to check on me when I am doing crunches. LOL. Nothing like canine encouragement.
  • I actually had someone ask me the other day if I was losing weight because my face seemed thinner. My face? I didn't think my face looked chubby, ha. My theory is it just shows up easier on places we have less to loose and actually is coming off everywhere including around internal organs.
  • Today is day 7 for me and I am using 5lbs weights BUT on day 4 is was so sore I went to 3lb for the day and then took a day off. Today I am back to 5 lb weights and it really felt easier today and it seemed to go by really fast. Great job everyone!
  • Hello. I am 52 and need to loose about 10 to 15 lbs. I have been struggling with my weight off and on most of my life. I have learned that I really need to work out to the point of sweating every day to maintain a healthy weight. Several injuries and medical problems kept me couch bound the last few years but I am feeling…
  • Was seriously considering skipping today because I was feeling so low energy. I stretched out a lot first and then made it through. This is my 7 day on level 1 and it seemed to go by so fast today. I feel pretty pumped up now. Time to drink lots of water.
  • This is my day 6, I took a day off yesterday. I felt a lot stronger today but still a little queasy by the time I do those bicycle crunches. I added some extra stretches to cool down some more after. Good work everyone. Enjoy!
  • Hello, I am 52 and joined MFP a few days ago. I started working out again the beginning of Feb with Daily Burn beginner and I have seen a lot of improvement. after 4 weeks of that I moved on to some harder workouts and now I am on day 6 of the 30 Day shred. Glad to meet new friends for support and motivation.
  • Me too. Getting serious about working out again and need friends to help me motivate. I am 52 and want to loose between 10 to 15 lbs.
  • That sounds really good! Sweet potatoes are so delicious,
  • I started the 30 day shred 5 days ago with the idea of taking no rest days. But today I realize I really need to take a day to recover. 5 on 1 off might be what I need. I am relatively new to circuit training so maybe once I build up more muscle I won't need to take days off.
  • I hadn't done any real workouts for a long time, I started up again in Feb with the Daily Burn beginner level, after a month of that I moved on to Cardio sculpt and now I am doing 30 day shred. It is challenging and by the last exercise I feel a little queasy but even after only 5 days I feel it's getting easier.
  • I started on M arch 26th, I am sore but not sure if I dare take a rest day out of fear I will quit. Looking for others who are doing the shred for support and motivation.
  • Me too, I am new here and glad to make new friends .
  • I have been using it for about six weeks. I started with the true beginner workouts and now do cardio sculpt. I really like it, the true beginner was just what I needed since I haven't done anything like lunges or squats for years. After four weeks of that I moved up to the cardio sculpt. I like the variety of workouts and…

  • Hello, I am Chaya and I just discovered myfitnesspal today. I am 52 years old and I am trying to loose about ten stubborn pounds that I have had since the birth of my third child at age 40. I actually have started the 30day shred already but I wanted to join a group to motivate myself to keep going. I am on day 4 of level…
  • I started the shred four days ago. I am pretty sore but I hope to make it through all 30 days. I really sweat a lot but today, day four, things seemed a tiny bit easier. Day one I thought I was going to puke during the bicycle crunches! Today not so bad.
