Welcome, Deb

Just a preference. No worries at all.

This sounds like a case of "feeling fat" after a splurge. Trust me, it means nothing. I need to do a video on that.
-
Welcome, newbs! We have lots of fun here! :-)

Any juice is an at-meal beverage.

That is incorrect. Drink just a touch more than you are thirsty for. The 8 cups thing is a myth. And too much fluid removes minerals.
-
That is normal. Good to hear back from you. By all means, start your own thread and keep tracking.

But you did damage control because it would have been worse had you jumped ship and started nibbling all day. That's still good.
-
It amazes me how so many can't accept that sometimes you just have a freakin headache! Sometimes, it's really just that simple. Not every day you feel great. Not every day your nose is dry.
-
VERY good numbers, sir!
-
True that...true that!
-
You are doing great. Don't worry about the splurge for a while.
-
I've said it before, but I literally just about cried when I first got back into 38-inch waist pants.
-
That's astounding! Wow! ...and all this time, you weren't sure you'd do very well! :-p

Shantel is my panda. :-p She was one of the very first MFPers I met back in 2014. You'll really get to like her! :)
-
Heyyyyy Shantel!!!!!
-
Nice! I love your pacing yourself and really thinking long-term!
-
Way to go, bud!

You can totally do this. You'll feel even more stoked once you do...and as you develop a new habit of stair-taking! (stairs are a sworn and avoided enemy of people ruled by their bigness! lol)

Hi, Laura... Please, please, don't go through with the surgery. All of my experience with those who have, including now a girlfriend who went through with the procedure, have problems. We are talking about difficulty absorbing nutrients, bizarre allergies, stomach lining tears, etc. Lots of problems, my dear. And those are…

Welcome, Mike. Be sure to start your own progress thread and update us! -Joe

That is rare. And it may be an allergy rather than an insulin reaction. Head pounding is the biggest indicator of an allergy, too. Classic aspartame allergic reaction. Any protein drinks I've ever run across WILL break a fast and WILL elicit an insulin response.
-
Artificial sweeteners are fine, but they can aggravate the bladder or dehydrate you if taken too much. They do NOT break the fast, I assure you.

Hi, Chris... I'm turning 43 the month after next, so I feel ya. As with all things, it is a mind game. Keto is fine, but your adaptation of it may be all you need to perfect. OMAD is there for you. It's up to you how you navigate it. Welcome!

Weight will fluctuate. That should never be a surprise. I can drop and lose some 15 or 20 lbs up or down in very short time, and you will be able to as well. The bear has the answers: cycling...eating more and eating less...all in good time! It's fun and it's living!
-
Way to go, John. Just truck right along. The losses will be there!
-
Lots of newbies. Welcome, all!
-
To a good degree, yes, although I have in some ways moved on.

You may have full-on celiac's or another carb allergy. It would explain the symptoms also. Report back on it.
