I agree with Pat. Your primary doctor should be able to keep an eye on your lab work. I've never heard of such from insurance companies. I also have BCBS. What a bummer!

Hello, I was sleeved on 12/16/13. Before that, I had lapband surgery in 2009 but was unsuccessful with achieving a fill that wouldn't make me sick so my doctor and I decided on the Sleeve. It's been great. Feel free to add me and my diary is open as well.

You will absolutely have more energy. Although I know that I do, it's confirmed when I'm out with others and they notice as well. I love it when I'm asked to slow down my walking pace.

I can honestly say that I'm not addicted to food. What I did notice is that I made really bad choices of what I ate and when I ate it. For example: I seem to couple watching a good tv show with snacking on a good snack. After surgery, I knew I had to make better decisions. Although it may be okay to couple those two…

It's very normal. There were times that I couldn't stomach anything so you're doing great. It will get better.

Like you, I had the band in 2009 but my doctor and I could never find a comfortable restriction so although I loss weight, I actually gained in all back so I turned to the sleeve, 12/16/14. I like the unjury flavors. I use it for breakfast in low fat plain soy milk with ice and have a shake.

I am concerned about vacations and really enjoying them while not making my family uncomfortable about eating choices. I don't understand how you were able to eat at all the places you named. I'm just curious about the food choices you made while eating out and how your body took them. Of course now, I'm only three weeks…
