I find it hilarious that MFP will "sync" with the withings pulse (not really because the calories burned is always off) but doesn't sync with Samsung. I think it's about money

Mine doesn't update all day. I have to hold the button for 3 sec and the tracker will update the app. Then I have to open the MFP app and refresh.

Then you obviously have never taken an SSRI or been on the Depo Provera shot. All drugs (especially SSRI/SSNI) cause chemical reactions that even on the strictest diet can cause weight gain. Everyone is different. Personally carbs are my downfall. I can eat clean and lose all kinds of weight even over my caloric intake. The best ides is to do a body fat % and see what works for you. Losing weight isn't a cookie cutter situation. Some people need different way to attack it. End of
