I got the mac and cheese... It was disappointing...

Thanks everyone. I just needed to get the stress of it off my chest. It's just thrown my routine out of whack and has made keeping up with my normal activity really difficult, not made any easier by the stress of work at this time of year. But the month is almost over so I can soon return to a normal routine. Still not…

Man it would be so much easier just being fat... of course not it the ways it matters but Its such a luscious idea. I was standing it line at my grandparents retirement home looking at the hot food trays trying to decide between sausage and mac and cheese and I thought to myself how much easier this would be if I was still…

Lol I posted that on my birthday family ride post, i think that was in the other group. Here is the post: http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10016216/scale-victories-non-scale-victories-meat-smorgasbords#latest Me in all my sexiness... lol I need a good long bike ride, but the work needs to be done first. Thats because a 100+ lbs of weight to loose is a huge amount. And compared to that 100+lbs your 6lbs very well may seem like nothing. Nothing you can do about that. But loosing nearly 2 lbs a week is a big accomplishment. Because your week to week loss is about all you can control (realistically meal to meal). We can have…

You have to hit the gear icon to remove a post but I don't think thats an option for normal users. Anyway, you posted what you felt and thats important. I have been at my grandmothers funeral all week with family so my eating hasn't been anywhere where I want it to be. I'm not worried about it, it wasn't emotional eating,…

I didn't read everyones response but I did want to respond to the question of whether its worth being proud of. F#*k Yes! Of course it is. You worked your bum off to get to this point. All the reasons aside as to why you got to the weight you did, the reason you are 100lbs lighter now then you were before is because you…

I always enjoy when we post victories and then spend half the time convincing ourselves that they might not really be victories. :) Just giving you a hard time. Enjoy what you have accomplished, whether you should have been the weight you were is neither here nor their. Your accomplishments are real and wonderful. I had…

I'm going to spend the next week chained to my desk desperately pumping out christmas photoshoot retouches as fast as I can. It will be worth it when the invoices go out, but I desperately want a nice long bike ride.

Happy Thanksgiving. I think it will be unavoidable. I simply plan on enjoying the food with reasonable preparations, record everything, then rub my belly and take a nap.

A very nice NSV for the day :)

Two steps forward one step back. I'm sorry about your injury. I can only imagine how much it sucks with all your progress to have to sit it out for a while.

I had the same issue on my ride. Completely forgot about the rain the other day and while taking a dirt trail decided to ride along the side to avoid a big pool of water and went from 13mph to 0mph as i got stuck in the mud and thrown off the bike. But I eventually pulled myself and the bike out of the mud and kept going.…

Hope your having a good Saturday Cari, and that you have made choices your happy with. Remember, you'll be just as happy with your good choices as with how your head makes you think you'll fell once you have given in.

Hi Zac, Glad your having a good week. Overall the week has been fairly good but sadly cold and raining so it's made outside activities difficult. I will ride in the rain but work has been keeping me busy. Nothing much planned for the weekend. If the weather clears up I have a nice long ride route I would love to do that…

Hi Let, Welcome to the group. Sorry for missing your post, the changes they made to the group layout make it hard to see when this post is updated. You bring up a lot of issues we have all had to deal with. No one gets to the weight we do with-ought some issues with food and ourselves. If you read through the threads you…

Unfortunately they say a lot with weightloss and sadly most of it seems to be absurd. If you see the video you'll know why that skin will never shift no matter the amount of water or toning. We just took our skin to far and it wont come back, not unless it gets cut off.

Hi everyone, sorry for being absent for a while. Between work, stress of a certain project and jury duty I haven't been checking in and mostly keeping to myself and my gremlins. You can contact MFP help and the will adjust your counter if you want. I'm thankful that I can do the logging fairly automatically. If I am making…

God i'm 33 pounds away from being his weight. Obviously her has a lot more weight from muscle and I certainly do not but I can see it. You know it is going to happen and I certainly knew it was going to happen but now I can see it. He was obviously bigger then me when I started but when I look at myself in the mirror I can…

Good to know I am trying.

Shrug it off and have a new day tomorrow.

I hate the time change. Sun going down at 5pm makes it really hard to get out in time to work out. Thankfully I have good lights and it doesn't snow here (and with the drought not a lot of rain), so I am making it work at the moment. I use to think I preferred the cold but since I have started working out in the middle of…

Ok it's set to private for the moment. just let us know when you want to open it up again.

As they say “A goal should scare you a little, and excite you a lot.”
-
I usually deal with it by felling bad for myself for a few days and then reminding myself that its not really doing anything for me so go back to focusing on making the right small choices. Making good small choices when eating, making sure I leave a little time to get a workout in. When i break it down into small choices…

Goals are a phycological thing so everyone is going to be different. If goals just don't work for you then that fine. As long as you are still continuing to move forward and have some success. I see my goals as number games. I originally set them up to test if the numbers in my spreadsheet were right and then added some…
