  • Awesome job! On Friday evening I ran just under 64 minutes for the Blessing of the Fleet, a 10 mile road race. I'm very pleased with the results. You can read about it here: http://rootandrocks.blogspot.com/2013/07/blessing-of-fleet-2013.html

  • That's my wife and I couldn't be more proud of her! Great job honey!
  • I'm an Umber man myself.
  • I haven't decided on one yet. I'll probably do the NipMuck trail marathon in eastern Connecticut but I'm also considering the Smuttynose Rockfest up in Hampton, NH and the Newport, RI marathon.

I'm doing a couple P90X workouts right now on my off-running days but I could definitely see myself doing some…
  • One piece of advice I followed when I ran my first marathon last May was to walk through the water stops, thus making it easier to drink water and eat the gel. It didn't cost me much time and made it much easier to refuel without making a huge mess on myself.
  • 10 mile trail race in Burlingame Campground in Charlestown, RI in a few weeks 1/2 Marathon in South Kingstown, RI in March 10k across Jamestown Bridge in RI in April Providence Marathon in May And maybe a couple other trail races in between all that!
