  • WOW! You look great (and I love those black glasses!)
  • Wow, this sounds just like me! Does your husband have a hard time with how to react too? One of his coworkers told me I was was looking good the other day and I couldn't tell if he was proud of me or wanted to deck the guy.
  • ^^^This^^^^.......and to one day look good naked..of course..
  • Wow! Congratulations! I bet you wont be able to wear those clothes for your next update- they will fall right off! :)
  • Amazing results! You look great!
  • I used to spread peanut butter on cabbage leaves, then roll a dill pickle in it...ultimate savory satisfier. Never tried it with bread, though.
  • 9 months ago I wasn't thinking about how unhealthy I had become. 9 months ago I worked nights and slept 10 to 12 hours a day. 9 months ago I weighed at least 40 pounds more than I do now. I also never thought I would like running, swiming, or workout classes. 7 months ago we signed Little Miss up for swim lessons and…
  • I do not think that is a weird question at all. I have recently noticed that my nose looks different. Maybe smaller, or maybe just different because my cheeks are not as chubby. IDK, but I wouldn"t rule out the possiblility of loosing weight in your nose :)
  • I am/supposed to be doing it right now. I have been working out since January and if I hadn't had all those boot camp classes I don't think I would have made it this far. I hurt my leg running Saturday, so I took a few days off of it. I did it Tuesday and it still hurt a litlle (my leg). I woundn't say I am never doing it…
  • I got married young (20), stopped trying to prevent kids at 21-22, started really trying to have a kid at 25, and finally had a baby at 27. Do I think we were ready at 21-25? Probably not. Am I glad we have Little Miss now? Definitely. I think 27/30 (DH's age) was a good time for us to have our one and only child. Of…
  • You all rock! I have been at this since January and only started actually using MFP for the last month, but almost everday I come and look at sucess stories (especially from the short gals) just for motivation. Thanks for sharing your sucess and stories for other to use as inspiration!
  • To EVERYONE who posted pics....you all look awesome!! GREAT WORK!
  • I am doing consecutive days, and still do my usual stuff, at least for the June challenge I am in. I lost 3 inches when I added up my inch loss from everywhere during the first 10 days doing this, but I had stopped losing weight and thought I needed to crank it up. I think if I kept it up, I would make it my strength…
  • I too am a "big girl" and I have been activly going to the gym since December. I have never once been hassled by a fit person while there. I have, however, been complimented by a really nice "fit" lady on my progress. She called my the amazing shrinking lady. I also have been the most overweight, out of shape person in a…
  • Today was my first day of level 2, whew! I measured myself so I could keep track of my progress, so here goes: CW: 183.9 NK:13" B:40 1/2" W:42 1/2" H:48" Arms:14" Thighs: 25 1/4" About 3 inches! YAY!
  • Rum Balls (err...well the dough). I used to bake for everyone for Christmas and one year I found a recipe for Rum Balls made with Nilla Wafers, coca powder, some other stuff, and rum. For every one I rolled in powdered sugar I think I ate 2. DH came home at 4pm and found me passed out on the couch, bowl still in my arms.…
  • Look in Findlay, they should have tons of 5ks. I get all my info for 5ks at my gym. If I were you I would go to the Findlay YMCA (it is close to downtown) or another gym and take a look around near the front desk. I bet there are flyers for TONS of 5ks. Also, I know it is a little further away, but Tiffin used to have a…
  • Wow! Congratulations on your sucess!
  • I did day 6 of 30ds today. I am doing this as a challenge on another forum here, but I am also keeping up my regular routine too. So I run 4 to 5 times a week, have swim aerobics class 3 days a week, do a little strength training and extra swimming a couple times a week as well. Did anyone else add this in as an "extra",…
  • Anyone heard of Fatheads in Republic? Def not a healthy place, but good all the same. Where I am from we would have to drive at least an hour to get to a town big enough to have a "healthy" place like the ones you were talking about in the Short North. Chances are, if we are going to Columbus (nearest town bige enough to…
  • 2 Words: YOU ROCK!
  • Thanks for that advice... I started running outside on a track once in a while when the weather was nice in March. In May I started running outside about once a week. The furthest I have pushed myself without walking on the sidewalk is about a mile and a half. I ran to my sister's house across town, drank some water and…
  • I did L1D2 today and DANG! I am sore.... and I though it might be a little easier on me this time because I have been working out for five months...not so.
  • driaxx...going out on a limb here.... part English?
  • LOL :) LOVE IT! Only Ohioans would get that joke... or know that in our case Marryin' is between Datin' and Engagement Only Ohioans know the correct response to this too: OH!
  • Awesome! Totally friending you!
  • It took me 6 months to loose 30 pounds, but I did only exercise the first 5 months (ie still ate crap= 15lbs of weight loss) and just started getting active on this site about a month ago. 15lbs of it has been in the past couple months when I started tracking my food better.
  • OK, today was my first day...D1L1... was excited it was only 20 minutes long (lol)! My starting stats: SW: 185.0 NK:13 1/4" B:41" W:43 1/4" H:49 1/4" Arms:15" Thighs: 25 1/4" I am still doing my usual exercises too, so hoping for some awesome results! My goal is to not have to do girl push ups by the end. GOOD LUCK…
  • I love how most guys seem to look younger when they get healthy/fitter (is that a word?). One of those many mysteries of men :) You look great! Congrats!
  • Age: 30 HGT: 4'11" HW/SW: 215 CW:185 GW: 115 (unless I have some serious muscle, which wouldn't be bad) Feel Free to add me! I want to get to my goal by the first week of December, but so far progress is slow. Let me know when that group is started!
