So handsome too  :blushing: You are a great inspiration to those who are always looking for "the right time to lose weight"... you just got up one morning and hit the floor running without looking back! You should be incredibly proud of yourself. Well done! :drinker:…

I've never owned a pair of denim shorts before.... I'd love to be able to pull them off without looking muffiny! I'd also LOVE to be able to see my own ab muscles one day

Any kind of calorie counting works as long as you are creating a deficit :) How accurate and honest you are with tracking your calorie intake is how well it will "work": it's not magic I'm afraid!
-
Beautiful :) the colour is gorgeous on you. Well done for doing such an amazing job, this has made me smile and be more motivated than ever to just keep going with MFP! :) :drinker: :flowerforyou: xxx

Goddamnit enjoy your bananas! As long as there's a deficit you'll be fine. Jesus, I've dedicated a part of my food diary to fruit: I always go over on my sugar intake for the day... I've not done too badly, I don't think? Perhaps your friend and I should have a little chat... especially if they're trying to get you to…

Excellent replies from all of you (Yes, even the one who says "keep losing" haha  hey, I asked for opinions!) Okay, I've decided to stick to 54.5kgs / 120lbs / 8st 8lbs. I've NEVER been that light before, EVER. It's time for RECOMP baby... I have no idea where to start! :blushing: I'd better shimmy on over to the…

Thanks everyone for your awesome replies  I'm going to bite the bullet and up my calories to 1800, with strength training in mind. I realise that this next part (maintenance) is all trial and error. If there are fluctuations above 1kg, I know to decrease calories until I'm back onto my goal weight :) it'll just be…
-
Thank goodness I'm not alone in this whole "anxious / guilty about maintenance" situation. I really needed to read this thread :) I'm confident that MFP calories set will work for my maintenance now! Thanks guys!

Cool! This is quite exciting :D I'm going to be in Spain for a few weeks in July so I'll make sure I'm jogging on the beach (Baywatch style and in slow motion of course  ) haha! x

Haha, blame my "super duper body fat measuring scales", they seem to be drunk most of the time. Seriously, every 5 minutes it'll go up / down by 2%! Thanks everyone for your advice, it's going to be hard snapping out of netting a certain amount for weight LOSS... but what if I over-estimate and put weight on?! :embarassed:…
-
bumping for whenever I need a basic reality check! Too many times now I've hopped on the scale after a week's hard work, looked down and thought "...oh :(" Damn right Kitty! Let's just keep doing what we're doing and get healthy for good! Life is about waaay more than just numbers on a damn scale :drinker:
-
Aww, you ARE beautiful though! Children are known for their brutal honesty so take that as a GENUINE compliment! :) Well done on your amazing loss so far, 16lbs is a LOT :O xxx

Haha this was ME when I first started 30 Day Shred! Keep at it, well done for starting it! It makes you sweat a hell of a lot more than you think doesn't it, I was really surprised... I started by watching the video first thinking "ha this looks okay"... hell no XD P.S. By the last few days of Level 3 I was shouting at the…

I woke up on a Tuesday morning in February feeling a bit meh. I went out, bought a notepad with a cute bear on it (as you do) and wondered what to do with it. Weighed myself in at 72.2kg and vowed to write EVERY calorie down in this notepad. Stayed at 1200 calories with cardio 3x a week for a month, going over a few days…

Ooh, I actually did that A LOT before I was diagnosed with T2 diabetes. I loved post - dinner / late night snacking. I just make sure I don't eat anything after 8pm :) I'm always told to do that before a fasting blood test so I just do it all the time! :P Also, what kinds of foods do you like snacking on?
-
Hi, could you tell us a bit more about this 'diet'? How many calories were you eating a day, were you exercising? How long did you stay on the diet for? Tell us a bit more and we can try and help you get on the road to enjoying the foods you love without overindulging :)

Getting rid of my diabeeeeetus! :)
