I don't 'cheat' on anything, and I've no idea why you'd dedicate a whole day to something. If I want chocolate or ice cream I fit it in to my calories for the day. If I am going out for a meal I'll make healthier choices but not deprive myself. Similarly, if it's a birthday or a night out etc I won't eat crap the whole day…

Very useful tips everyone, thanks!

You've done amazing!

No.

Amazing, well done!

If it were just the odd occassion then I'd be inclined to agree: I remember how my sister was with my dad. However, anything I ask her to do gets brushed under the carpet and ignored. Anything. Be it homework; getting ready; picking up clothes; picking up a toy; putting her tights back in a drawer; asking her not to bang…

They'd probably be happy with him being alone forever. We both know that they have no right, but they'd bloody try and fight for it, and a legal battle is not something we'd want to put her in the middle of (regardless of that fact that we would know the outcome).

1. I wasn't implying one was better than the other. I meant that my son had settled in because of the routine and accomplished things he never had before, as a result of this. 2. It was not on the date of death. It was not mentioned to her until her gran and aunt complained about it. It was mentioned to her as she heard me…

I feel that is probably true, which is horrible for my fiance as he split up with his daughter's mum over 8 years ago and before she died: they had no problems encouraging her to cheat (her sister used to set her up in bars when they were out, while she was still in the relationship), or to meet someone else when they…

I ignored that post because it was just absurd.

She isn't nasty, but can be disrespectful. For example, I ask if she has homework and she'll say no but when her dad comes home and asks if it's done she'll get it out and do it; or when I remind the kids to put their clothes into the washing baskets when they get changed into their jammies, she'll leave them on the floor…

I did meet her yes, and it has been an issue since almost day 1 of the move. It's not something that only happened over the last few weeks, but at least twice a week for 6 and a half months. I'm unsure as to whether it's the move, it's myself or it's the influence of other people who are now saying things as the…

I didn't say we wouldn't, and if there were underlying issues that could be resolved then I'd work at them. However, if it was a matter of her not liking me, nothing underlying, then I'd rather leave sooner rather than later - yes.
-
If she genuinely doesn't like me/the home situation, I would rather leave sooner rather than later. Not to wimp out, not to take the easiest option but because, overall, it is the kindest. Why make her live with someone she doesn't want to? Why make everyone unhappy? Is it something I want to do? No, but if it meant…

Sometimes the anonymity gives for good breathing space, and allowed me time to calm down and come back and rationalise everything I thought.

Thank you, and you are quite possibly right. From what was said by her grandparents tonight it seems like the main catalyst is her mother's sister and mum. When she doesn't see them then she is perfectly fine - however she normally goes at the weekend (they try to insist they have rights to this and told my partner they'd…

Just going to post a few quick responses on here since the thread was mostly the same throughout: 1. Re the wedding date: I got given a list of dates, text them to my partner and said "this one is on a bank holiday" he said okay and we booked it. I had no idea when I booked it what the date was: I was never informed. It…

I'm not the best cook, but I don't understand why you believe cooking is some momentous task. Sure, if you want to create big elaborate meals, but it doesn't need to be that fancy. . Rub a chicken breast in spices, bake it. Boil some veggies and rice to accompany. . Cook other meats (lamb, fish, steak, pork - whatever you…

I am originally North Lanarkshire, and now I'm Ayrshire!

21, despite the baby face, feel free to add me! I made a new account as I lost a lot of weight (about 40lbs) but then fell back into EDNOS behaviour again, so a clean slate with a better mindset.

I'm not sure whether she's lying or what but here http://instagram.com/stefaniemoir https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCeJwqpwIzRiAR1eglS3bguQ/videos

Yes. I know a girl who is a raw till 4 vegan and she basically only eats fruit and veg, and sometimes rice and potatoes. She eats over 3500 calories a day, with little protein or fat, the majority of which are 'mono-meal' and has lost body fat as well as increasing strength.

More men in kilts! Just don't become this guy .... http://www.shoutingatco.ws/2011/05/13/daily-sport-brides-och-aye-the-poo/

I was under the impression that there was no real evidence as to who the Picts actually were, the were in Northern and Eastern Scotland with different sects in different areas of Scotland. I was assuming she had no idea what a kilt or tartan was, and didn't actually know it's origins since she was talking about her friends…
-
Just to say: tartan is a design, typically on a woollen cloth, that help identify SCOTTISH clans at one point in time. Most Scottish men wear their family tartan (ancient, traditional, modern, hunting) to their wedding to highlight the clan they belong too. VIKINGS were from Scandinavia - Sweden, Norway and Denmark. No…

I tend to cook some garlic and then add chopped veg like tomatoes, red onion, pepper and mushrooms and then blend it up. I then add chopped tomatoes and tomato puree and herbs to season. Works fine for myself and the kids!

Thanks everyone :) Sometimes when you tell people you want to include black they look at you like you've grown horns and have started devil worship. as it's not the 'traditional' thing.

My event is 12 miles, I think. I know that every so often they have a 're-fuel' station with things like bananas and water etc. Our's has 5 water stations, so I'm not sure if it's worth taking something or not, that works out at a water station every 2 miles give or take. And of course there is a free beer afterwards.

I meant the natural habitat of those animals. In their natural habitat, without any interference from humans.
