  • I don't plan on logging every calorie for ever but I also found that a lot of things that I didn't think were that high in calories before ended up shocking the heck out of me when I started logging things. When it comes to meals where I just have no idea what the content is I just log it as best as I can or just skip it…
  • I was looking for a calorie counter app and found this one...I didn't even realize it was a whole network site for months!
  • Every one is different. I eat mine if I am hungry. I trust my body to make the meal decisions more than my mind since my mind is what got me to this weight in the first place! LLAP :flowerforyou:
  • Ha ha, this is very true  BTW I didn't mean that I was going to jump in the sack after a month, more that I was stressing about the inevitable next level which would most likely come before I hit my goal weight. Thankfully he is out of town for a couple weeks for work so I don't have to worry about it now anyway! LOL

  • Suggested serving sizes always crack me up...it blows my mind that there are people out there that don't pay attention to the nutrition labels! http://www.divinecaroline.com/22177/93710-nutrition-label-lies-loopholes-serving
  • I like this calculator quite a bit! To be honest I hadn't even thought of what my maintenance calories would be once at my gw. Thanks!
  • That is an awesome achievement! :flowerforyou:
  • I agree that most at home scales leave a lot of room for error since most of us can't fork out the cash for the super duper fancy shmancy ones  but as CourtneyLeigh83 said, as long as you're using the same scale for your own weigh-ins you'll still have an accurate gauge of loss. Oh and as far at the original…
  • ^^ I think this may be the smartest thing I read in the thread LOL How many meals/snacks are eaten in a day for me all depends on my activity level since the more active I am directly relates to how hungry I am. I would assume everyone who is not on a diet but is eating healthy would be similar. How many times or when you…
  • That is a very good idea! Reminds me of a friend of mine who talks about how pathetic people are who don't have enough money to go out and "enjoy their life" all the time to my face when I had to move back in with my mom after my ex and I broke up. People are just *doh* sometimes
  • Random pet peeves of mine? -People who drag their feet...are you really so lazy that you can't pick up your entire foot when you walk? -People who talk on their cell phones when they're in the check out line. Seriously? You can't pause your conversation for a moment to answer the clerk who is trying to be patient and help…
  • I tell lots of people about it whenever I'm asked about my weight loss! As for the apps, I have a blackberry so the app kind of sucks for me but I still use it to track stuff when I'm out and about so I don't forget about it and then can adjust the items when I'm home. LLAP :flowerforyou:
  • Out of curiosity has anyone used the Daily Needs Calculator on the above page? It gave me a Daily Energy Expenditure of 2099 kcal which is about 300 more than most other calculators I've averaged out. But I like that it has the recommended minimums...anyone know if this info is legit?
  • Thanks for the advice, I have such a difficult time with fresh fruit because I'm not sure where to find accurate data. For instance I love pomegranate arils but recently saw some prepackaged pomwonderful arils that claimed to have way more calories than what I had found prior in my searches.
  • Thank you all very much for your input! You're right of course, if it is meant to be it will work out without me stressing out about it like a crazy lady :blushing:
  • Ha ha ha! I love the random items that sometimes pop up in my searches but beef donut definitely takes the cake! LLAP :flowerforyou:
  • ^^This is exactly right. I think where you are right now it is ok to eat around the glass as long as you are still in love with him and are actually helping him, not just enabling him, but as far as a future (marriage, family), I think it is a very bad idea until he is much much healthier. I have been this girl and I agree…
  • Yah I know how to copy and paste  It just wasn't loading for me for some reason LOL think my internet is just afu today. Can't wait to try it!
  • a) stop complaining about your raging hangover...if you decide to drink all night before work that is NO ONE'S problem but your own! b) I will personally shoot the next person who uses the microwave without covering their splattery, sticky, slimy, stinky food that was mysteriously left to harden on every possible inside…
  • Oh man the strawberry shortcake roll thingys...mmm. I need to go work off the weight I put on just thinking about them LOL LLAP :flowerforyou:
  • Oh delish! Thanks for sharing! EDIT: I couldn't get the link to work :(
  • It was part of the recent updates...no doubt because of the people who couldn't stop themselves from having signatures that took up whole pages. It sucks for people who lost any info they had in it but I say good riddance!
  • This was also a HUGE problem for me since I always snacked when I had nothing to do. I started getting really active during the day, even if I had nothing to do that day I'd go window shop or something and I ALWAYS have chewing gum available for when there is just nothing to do :)
  • I wish I knew what the question was in relation too? 3 lbs of what?
  • Definitely hit on :)
  • High school ;)
  • I'm going to log as much as I can but am afraid there will be some that I just have to estimate since I'll have no way of knowing all the ingredients....I'm not too concerned about it though, as long as I keep to my plan the rest of the month! LLAP :flowerforyou:
