9/15: 3.1 MTD: 54.65 Ran my University's Alumni 5k for Homecoming. Started out a little too fast but fought to finish strong on the random incline course. Finished in 31:25! :) My time was two minutes quicker than this same race last year. Granted my knee felt like it was going to snap, but that's ok.

My last post is wrong. On 8/31 I actually ran 5.75 miles so the total for August is 86.15

8/31: 4.25 miles! :) Finished August with 84.65 miles When looking at mileage for my half training it looks like 160 will be my goal for Sept....we'll see how that goes. lol Hoping to run my second half on Oct 27th.

Starvation mode does not happen in one day. It's a long period time at a huge deficit. MFP already gives you the deficit you need to lose weight, so yes eat back your calories.

My husband's in a wheelchair (he was born with spina bifida) and when we first started dating people would ask if I was only dating him because of the wheelchair. I wouldn't even tell people about it when I was describing him. His chair doesn't define who he is, just like a facial disfigurement doesn't define your date.

This is so me!!!! Even if I ran that day...especially if it's a rest day! You might be a runner if you use your birthday to get running essentials. (this year I asked for a hydration belt since i don't have one, new shoes or a race entry fee) lol

My Grampy is recovering from knee surgery about 2.5 miles from my house. Instead of driving there today I ran it! :) 7/29: 5 MTD: 67.05

I have a trip planned in August (during week three of half marathon tx) so I'm only going to say 65 miles. If I can get a few days running on vacay I'll let you know if I need my target increased.
