Many chains list their nutrition info online. Remember, restaurants do not care about your nutrition, they care about 3 things, sometimes only 1: The culinary arts, the taste of their meals, the profit. Your nutrition is your own. If it's not fun, make it fun. And you can't have fun without working for it first. Research…

I agree with the majority of people here: Start lifting those weights, girl. You cannot get bulky unless you're shootin' up. If you want to lower your body fat to show your abs more, make sure you are maintaining the muscles to prevent atrophying by doing strength/resistance training and eating at a deficit. If you want…

Hey there, thanks! I've changed my calories goals based on my TDEE every ten lbs I lose. However, I first started off with 1200. It wasnt enough, especially because I was breast feeding, so I used a TDEE calculator, changed my weightloss goals to 1lb on MFP and settled on 1580. Then I went down every 10lbs bc I was doing…

AWESOME progress! You can do it! :D

XD thanks all! Still lots more progress to go, but very happy with the results thus far. It's been quite the bumpy road, but I've got my nose to the grindstone this time. Hoping to make decent headway before Christmas so the recovery from that won't be so bad. It's a Hispanic Christmas after all, lol!

Woohoo, lower BMI than 80% of females in the US ages 15-29, and a higher BMI than 55% of females aged 15-29 in the world. If everyone in the world had my BMI, it would remove 15,549,799 tonnes of total weight. Even though the scale is a bit arbitrary considering all the variables, I'm not gonna lie, it feels pretty good…

I got through all 23 pages and oh my goodness you girls are freaking amazing! Just got back into lifting (I'm 15lbs from goal with a 41lb loss so far). I can't wait to be able to contribute to this inspirational thread! THANK YOU, LADIES! <3 <3 <3 :D

Your health doesn't matter to anyone but you. I've watched many of these documentaries and what I noticed was how horrible processed and "medicinally treated" foods are for your long-term health. However, we have the choice to seek alternatives. I firmly believe moderation and taking responsibility for how and what we eat…

OP, spot reducing isn't achievable (especially if you're "bottom heavy.") Have you considered heavy lifting for your arms so that your upper body becomes more proportionate to your lower half? It's a very healthy way to achieve a more evened out shape, and a lot easier than running forever and a day in hopes of atrophying…

Lol I think they thought you were OP for some reason. :)

Height 5'6 Weight 142 Goal 125 Yes, I am weighing and measuring everything that goes into my mouth (except when I eat out which is very rarely) Yes, I am measuring before I cook any meat. The only things I use the database generic entries for are spices (which are normally 0 calories anyway) and eat-out foods (which…

Lookin' good! Awesome progress!!!

The comments on here are getting mind-numbingly ridiculous. You all know exactly what OP means so no use in commenting "I've NEVER had that problem, so not sure why you should." Well, you know people who HAVE had that problem I'm sure. We can all sympathize one way or another directly or indirectly. The pressure isn't…

If you have a flat to zero behind, you can't get a large bubble butt. BUT you can get a nice rounded firm rear-end with squats, lunges, squat jumps, kickbacks, bridges, and deadlifts. Add weight and the muscle will build. Most naturally "big butts" are fatty. Others are from genetically denser muscle mass with lots of fat…

GAWgeous! :)

I agree that the "ideal" varies from person to person and body structure to body structure. But since you are asking for our individual opinion, my goal at 5'6 is 125lbs. I am currently 145 and wearing size 9/10 in LC by Lauren Conrad jeans. (I state the brand because vanity sizing makes ALL women's pant sizes different by…

Beanie!

Wearing pants in the single digits again, finally!

I feel ya girl. I am Puerto Rican and Dominican. I was always thin and was told I was just too skinny. Chicken legs, no butt, whatever u can think of. On the flip side, I had strangers and friends telling me I could be a model and had a dancer's body. I listened to my family and did and ate everything I could to gain that…

27lbs down so far, my halfway point. :) 5'6 and currently 151lbs.

Thank you! I am 5'6

I know the trick well, LOL. I wanted to be completely honest in my progress for you all though.

I knew you would all be supportive and make me feel good, but I seriously did not expect to cry. Haha, thanks all!

LOL The jealous trolls on here make me laugh seeing as you didn't even react to those losers. You came on MFP to tell of a little confidence boost. Anyone who posts their own "successes" and doesn't think that's what they're fishing for is a hypocrite. Congrats on your rearview's progress! Oh wait...I'm objectifying…

I do it nakey-nakey, and before breakfast. But you'll need to do it however you've been consistently doing it to make sure you have accurate numbers.

No, but seriously, you need to have another heart to heart. Ask him why he insists on coming when he knows you would rather workout alone. Depending on his answer, you should know what to do. Dump him bc he's a creepy possessive stalker, or tell him he's compromising your relationship if he continues to insist on coming…
