I could go for some sunny binge drinking right about now....

Do they know that all of your MFP's lift weights? :) What an asinine thing to say to someone. Jerk!
-
Dang girl! You are killing it!

I suck-hard. No beans since the refried ones. Still a night owl, still eating cereal-back down to one bowl a night though.

Joanne-freaking amazing results! I have a little scale victory today-I usually hate that thing when the number goes up, but today I was thrilled! According to the protein shake place (I know the scale can be inaccurate, but I try to be consistent with my weigh in times & activity levels), from April 26th (10 days after…

Done done done with Stage 2. Hooray! Final results: Deadlift f/box: 135 lbs to150 lbs. (I also did 3 reps of 160 today, but I won't count those) Split Squats: 60 lbs. to 60 lbs.-struggled with my balance on these. Getting better! Underhand Lat pulldowns: 110 lbs to 115 lbs. Reverse Lunges f/box: 40 lbs. to 40 lbs.-another…

Way to go!

OMG! You crack me up! Way to go!

A little off topic, but I did 2 sets of regular back squats after my A workout yesterday and already noticed a drop in the weight I could do. That made me kinda mad. Anyways, I think if you alternated with overhead presses and regular back squats, you'd get the benefit of FSPPs.

Way to go scare all of us who are finishing Stage 2 this week. :) Yowza!
-
In Stage 1, I held a dumbbell across my upper chest. Worked pretty good. Start with a 20 pounder and go up.
-
I've been doing them in my socks too. :)
-
I kept increasing in Stage 1 if I could complete the whole set of 10. I may have struggled a bit with the last rep, but generally I went up then. In Stage 2, I've found that I haven't increased much at all. I struggle with the last 2 reps on almost everything so I haven't made the leap to increase as fast this time around.

Rock on, ladies! I finished 4A today as well and feel pretty good. I've finally figured out why Stage 2 bugs me-it's the fact that I haven't increased my weights like I did in Stage 1. I'm working hard and struggling with the last couple of reps so I know I'm on track, but it's hard not seeing that growth. Here are my…

Way to go!

Dare I say that I actually kind of liked the B workout today? I think I was stressing over not increasing my weights this time around (dropped them down for the deadlift from box, switched to holding a weight over my head for the Swiss crunches, etc..) and was obsessing over my calories for the last couple of weeks. Put a…

I feel like I should give you a trophy or something. :) Way to go! I can't even begin to imagine finishing this program.
-
That's what I was doing. However, I just threw the New Rules calorie plan out the window this week because I was sick of switching them back & forth each day. :)

Yes! Yes! Yes! I am so sick of trying to figure out my calories, freaking out if I don't burn enough, and stressing over my food intake. I am in the best shape I have ever been in and I work my *kitten* off almost every day. Why does it have to be a struggle? I for one, felt like I was starving on the NROLFW calorie…

Oh Beeps. I am right there with you girl! Scale goes up by 7 lbs. in 8 weeks. Yeah, I know that's not all muscle and retention. Annoying!
-
5'6 here too! SW: 205 CW: 135 (gained some back after lifting heavy) Goal: continue to build muscle and lower body fat.
-
Still here. Does eating re-fried beans from a Mexican restaurant count? :) Oh-and I actually went to bed at 10:45 last night and only ate a tablespoon of Crunchberries cereal. It's the small victories, right?

I think you just described my results. Gained a lot in strength, gained an inch in my waist, gained 7 lbs, but I lost .7% body fat. Have you rechecked your BF%? Did you take before & after pics? I keep telling myself that my inches haven't changed, but I'm more lifted and less dimply. Haven't taken a pic of my backside…
