Look up recipes for easy vegetarian lentil soup recipes. I usually make a big pot once a month and freeze it in little tupperwares for a quick lunch or dinner. Lentils are very filling and contain protein. Hope that helps!

I don't know if this would work for everyone, but what I do when I go over my calorie count is challenge myself to burn off those extra calories that day or the next. This is can be impossible sometimes if I end up 1000 calories over! But the healthy "punishment" is enough for me to stay away from snack foods sometimes!

I'm the same way! Because I know I will want to snack later on in the evening, I try to save some calories for that time. I also go out of the way at the grocery store to find decent snacks that are low cal that I can set aside to reward myself for a good day of eating-which is happening more and more because of these…
