100% correct. Cardio is for heart health, and for increasing your daily calorie burn. That's pretty much it. You don't HAVE to do cardio to lose fat. By the way OP, thank you for sticking to this thread this long, and also thank you for your service.

This is exactly why I agree that weighing daily is the way to go. Don't worry, as you start seeing progress it'll get easier to deal with days on end of going up and down. I weigh daily in the mornings after bathroom, and log only drops in weight. Like right now I'm 232.8. But I know that last Sunday I weighed in at 231.8.…

This is what I do. You have to sift through alot of BS, but there is definitely some motivation there.
