  • Pants have become a bit tight lately. I want them to fit properly again.

  • I love peanut butter too. I can easily finish a 350g jar in one sitting and if I do, I will try to make up for it the next couple of days by decreasing my overall calorie intake. Can't live without peanut butter...
  • I actually enjoy logging my food. It makes me plan ahead and look forward to dinner when I log my food in advance. I do not log anything that has less than 5 calories, like diet coke, tea or most spices.

  • I did not even know a low calorie food like that exists! Will definitely try them. Having a big bowl of 'pasta' for less than 50 calories sounds awesome.
  • I have always been open about how much I weigh. I used to be 200 lbs, now I'm around 150lbs and I never had problems with telling people how much I weigh even when I was at my highest. It's basically just putting a number to what they can already see...
  • Mario Kart on Nintendo 64. I played this all the time when I was around 8 years old. I didn't own a N64 myself, but went over to a friend's place to play. As I got older I only played on a GameBoy color every now and then and then later other random mini games on my first IPhone. In 2011 I made the fatal decision to pay…

  • I used to eat cereal for breakfast most days. When I began to weigh my food I realized that I was not even close to the recommend serving size of 30g +150ml of milk, but rather filled my bowl with 150g-200g + 400ml milk, easily making this an 800 calorie breakfast. I still eat cereal these days, just smaller portions of…
  • As you already have trouble meeting your calorie goal, I would also suggest you try to lower your physical activity at first. If you go for regular runs you will have to eat even more to make up for the calories burned. Don't get me wrong, an active lifestyle is important, but I believe getting back to a healthy weight…

  • I have a One and think it really helps in terms of motivation. Initially I ordered the Flex but didn't like the feeling when wearing it on the wrist. Also, I wanted to be able to wear it every day and the flex just doesn't seem right for some of the more elegant outfits I have. It doesn't have a display either. With the…
  • I am in a similar position. I get up at 6:15 am, 1 1/2 hour drive to work (I take the bus), ... I usually get back home at around 7:30 pm. Nevertheless I decided to join the gym last week. I go there straight after work, my husband who is a member for several years already, takes my stuff so I don't have to carry that with…
  • I often don't log my food on special occasions like birthdays. You get a feeling after a while for how much you can eat anyway. If you eat more every now and then, don't worry. It will not have much of an impact. You could also even it out by eating at a deficit again for the following 2-3 days. I also wouldn't want to…
  • I lost a significant amount of weight just by counting calories and plan to continue to keep my weight. I think after a while you also get a feeling for how many calories certain foods have. I have been weighing food for over a year now and already know some of the calorie amounts by heart for foods I use frequently. You…
  • I agree on the soda. I never have any because I hardly taste any difference between normal and diet soda. Fruit juices are another one for me as are most alcoholic drinks. My mom used to buy low fat cheese which was horribly chewy, I'd rather go for real cheese. I also cook without using oil most of the time using a…
  • I also weigh myself once a week on Sunday. Sometimes I check on Saturday, but I don't log that weight then. I have also had the case that I supposedly 'gained' more than 1lb between Saturday and Sunday. I logged the higher Sunday weight, but then the week after that, I had lost more than 2lbs. It usually evens out.
  • I also lost 4lbs during the first week while eating about 1600 kcal daily. After that I continued losing 1lb per week as expected, so perhaps it was mostly water weight. It's great motivation though :)
  • I stopped snoring when I lost weight. I used to be afraid to take a nap when I took the bus to work each morning. Now I don't have to worry about that anymore :)
  • I currently work in an IT department with hardly any other ladies around. I usually have the bathroom to myself :)
  • Hello Everybody! Female, 24 5'10'' Starting weight: 200 lbs current weight: 169 lbs goal weight: 150 lbs I'd love to find people with similar stats when it comes to height and weight, age is not that important I think :)
  • I found the prediction to be pretty accurate. My days are mostly the same when it comes to calorie intake and the amount of exercise at the moment so its easy for me to monitor progress.
  • I have found the fitbit one to be my favorite. you can just put it in your pocket or clip it on your pants or bra. it tracks steps pretty accurate. And not only steps but the distance you walked, floors and calories burned. A huge plus compared to the flex is the display where you can always check on the information.…
  • a cup of low-fat cottage cheese mixed with some scallions, salt and pepper or seasoning according to taste or carrot/zucchini sticks with some low-fat cream cheese. The cream cheese/cottage cheese I buy has around 65 calories per 100 gr so you could eat almost the entire pack and still be around 100 calories total
  • I am from Germany myself and find it easy to eat healthy. It mostly depends on the choices you make when shopping. For packaged/processed food you will always find nutritional value and ingredients somewhere on the back. Also, I believe regulations concerning food origins and labeling are much stricter than in most other…
  • Don't let his comment bring you down. My husband told me the exact same thing some time ago. Also he added: I already accepted that you are never going to change. I had gained 40 lbs since we first met. I didn't feel good to hear that especially since I usually get positive feedback from most other men I encounter.…
  • Hello all! I'm a new member, only signed up three days ago and looking for some support and inspiration to help me achieve my goal. I'm 24 years old, 5'8'', current weight about 200 lbs with the aim to lose at least 45 lbs.
  • I am now at 200 lbs and aiming for 145-150, which is the weight I had 7 years ago. I still like some curves so I do not want to become too thin.
  • Hello everybody! I am new to this, just signed up yesterday and looking for some friends to keep motivation up. I'm 5'8'' SW: 200 GW: 150 perhaps more once I get there :) .
