don't mess with your back. Don't take advice from people who are untrained or even if they are they cant look at you or exrays over the web. Go to the Dr and get it taken care of. Eat less and you can lose with out exersise.

I love mine (Polar ft7) it has helped me get a maximum burn/time by changing up the resestiance on the machines. I found going hard the whole time burned less then up and down. The machine gives you more burn for the intensity on higher but for me going up and down gave me a extra 200 or so in the same 30 min workout

I eat right before bed most every night Its way better then a midnight trip to the fridge cause your starving. Hasn't slowed my weight loss at all.

You may be wrong, when you cheat you through your body, some extra, and your metabolism can like that. I have found that if I eat all my calories including my exersize cal and even a bit more some times kicks my body in to a burning machine. NOT saying every one should do this but hey it worked for me

If you get it from Ebay keep in mind it is used which is ok. But make sure your going to get all the parts, Reciver, Transmiter, and Chest Strap. How do you plan to tone with out exersize? You don't need a gym, and the timing of a workout is irrealvent. As far as staying motivated, you need realistic and achivable goals. Not I want to tone with out exersize, this is not posible you cant sit on your couch and get musle definiton. Good luck to you.
