Well at first i stuck with the calorie counting but then i messed up. I started out at 159 pounds then i got down to 154 and now i am back up to 158. I did that within 15 days. That is always how loosing weight seems to go for me. I stick with it for a few days and then mess up.
I want to loose about 13 pounds and tone up. I am not really trying to exercise either. I do not have the money to join a gym and i work nights so i sleep at odd times. I am going to be getting a kinect soon and i will be trying the fitness games for that.
How do you stay motivated ?
Any fitness dvd or game suggestions ?

How do you plan to tone with out exersize? You don't need a gym, and the timing of a workout is irrealvent. As far as staying motivated, you need realistic and achivable goals. Not I want to tone with out exersize, this is not posible you cant sit on your couch and get musle definiton. Good luck to you.0 -
Good for you for being here. You have been successful. Remember that your weight can fluctuate up and down.
You do not need to be a member of a gym or have any fancy equipment. Go out and buy the 30 Day Shred by Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser. Her workouts have totally transformed my body. All you need is two small weights. I'd start with 2 or 3 pound weights. It will cost you max 8 bucks for the weights and 10 or 12 bucks for the DVD.
Good luck!

In my opinion, the very most important first step is establishing some habits that will maintain your progress. Motivation is fleeting. Use it to get started, but you cannot rely on it. COMMIT to 30 days or 60 days of just a few changes to your eating or exercise. Make them non-negotiable. Once the habits have developed, just build from there. But you've got to stick to those changes to make them settle in as habits. It might also be helpful to identify a couple of habits that already exist, but are not in your best interest. Use that 30-60 days to break those bad habits too. It's best to actually replace them with something better, but I'll stop there.0

you can do it! I think we all have lost then gained it back. I got down to 204 from 265, so close to ONEderland then gained 15 lbs. But Im back on track now. I recommend walking, its free. Just walking in a store for 30 mins is still exercise. I wouldn't beat yourself up tho because that is going to stress you out more and stress can hinder weight loss. I watch this video on youtube called "My 120 lb journey" and after watching that it motivates me so much. Its about a man who was once Obese and now he is an Iron Man competitor. I read a quote once that the only difference between people who reach their goal weight vs, people who don't, is that simply they wanted it more. I guess its kinda true in a way. Cans of food can be used as weights also. Hope this all helps, good luck, you can do it! Just believe in yourself0

You can even use cans of food as weights if you need to. Anything will work, as long as you do. Or, conversely, see my ticker.0
