I work retail so pretty big issue- sorry I didn't mention it in my post Park isn't a safe option right now- the only open one in my area is in a sketchy area. My usual one is closed for a while due to a minor natural disaster. But outdoors is an issue just because of the heat.

24 hour gym costs money. My complex has a 24 hour gym, but as I said in my OP, it's under renovation and currently closed.

@PewterSky Try again? Also your pic reminds me a bit of a Renaissance painting... very mysterious!

Honestly, yes and no. I went from a 40H to a 32G. Still busty, I'll always be busty, but I look bustier because I have a smaller body overall.
-
Add me! I'm 22, and I'm down 30lbs with about 30 more to go!

@Kman4evah - I don't have many friends; recently graduated college and moved back home. College friends are everywhere but here. Boyfriend knows, but otherwise I'm on my own most of the time. The friends I do have aren't here.

@rainbowbow - I have a psychiatrist and a therapist. I am on anxiety medication. I was looking for others dealing with the same issue. This has been diagnosed in a clinical setting and I am seeking therapy- I was just hoping to find others dealing with the same issue. I also participate in AA and OA.
-
@KisforKrista - Not self diagnosed, but nice try. Actually diagnosed, by my psychiatrist, with EDNOS, specifically BED or a food addiction. There is a legitimate chemical issue here, added to by my genetic predisposition towards addiction. And I love how you're saying that addiction is just a lack of self control...
-
@anxioushero - do you have any issue with lifting since getting it? How long was the healing process and the adjustment process?
-
@Kman4evah - I mean, there is solid physiological and psychological basis for the statement.... Whether you're calling it Binge Eating Disorder (which falls under EDNOS) or what, it is there and can be a form of expressing addictive tendencies. Problem with your advice for me tends to be that what should be the support…

@isulo_kura - how so?

It comes and goes with my anxiety and other triggers. Think of it in the same way as alcoholism and drug addiction- I can often control it, but when I lose control, it's bad.

I use mindful meditation and do yoga 3 times a week- I also attend OA and AA. It's an addiction issue, not escape. Hard to explain the separation but there is one. And I've been eating low carb for a little over a year. Having a T1 diabetic in the house makes it fairly easy.

I'm in! I'm 21, 22 next week. I've been working on losing weight for over a year and lost about 35lbs so far, with 15-25 left to lose. Working plus school means I don't have much time for the gym, so I'd love someone to help encourage me!

I'm in! I seriously need to work out more- I've been slacking

I have IBS, so I'm in the same general region. I have my good days, my C days (most days) and my rare but horrific D days, which mostly land me in the hospital. They can be triggered by foods (whole nuts and rice are the worst for me- I don't digest them fully), or more often emotions (I have C-PTSD) or unrelated illnesses…

Yup. By my little brother's friends (12-13 year olds) to men older than my father... apparently I have a "flirt with/ grab on me" face.

I'm 5'1. Went from 178-144. Goal weight is 128. I lift, run, do yoga. Anything to stay active! Started taking progress pics when I got below 160.

I use my fitbit for daily activity and estimating the number of calories I should eat. On days when I do strength training, I just eat at maintenance.
-
I've done martial arts as well- the issue is that sometimes I strike without concern for my own safety. My Y doesn't have a track, and our machines aren't well kept up. I've tried classes though.

I have a gym in my neighborhood (I live at home), a YMCA membership for free because I work at it and a college gym. Outside, I usually run and swim. But now it is cold.
-
That's the issue right there- I'm a college student, so I have no room and no money.
-
The majority of my exercise is lifting- I really am not a cardio type of girl, though I'm hoping to get into running once it warms up (cold exacerbates my asthma). I'm thinking of picking up kickboxing or something to add in, but right now outside is sort of out.

My diary is open...? And I've stagnated for about a month.

I'm 5'2, 145lbs. I'm eating base1500 a day, more when I exercise. I don't go over much on sodium; sugar tends to be my nemesis. My BMR is 1450, my TDEE ranges between 1700 on inactive days to 2000 on active ones. I'm not running a high deficit. I have both a HRM and a pedometer I use religiously. I use fitbit to track my…

Money for tuition so I don't have to drop out. Or a fitbit surgeHR... But on the realistic page, maybe some socks. Woolen tights. Hair ties. Time with my family. I don't really have any big wants. Maybe a massage gift card? I'd love that. My back is completely shot. Or money to see a dentist.

I'm considering it myself as well! Saving up for it is a bit of a hassle, but I am a big one for accuracy and my flex doesn't count stairs or HR....
