Head spinning....still confused lol.

got mine friday

I have. Gives me 30 minutes and says it is 148 calories. That seems low to me. I could be wrong. It gives me less than what it gives you for double the time. Doesn't make sense. (Yes I made sure I put in 30 minutes and not 15).

Long Island. Do you do long durations then break or (example) 3 minutes then 1 min break. Then 2 mins then 3 mins, etc?

Water work outs I’ve been looking in to but no affordable place near me with open swim hours.

This may help more. I found a pic of April 2015 when I was around 184 and the 2018 is from April 2018. This would have made much sense from the beginning.

Yeah the food I am constantly watching. I am fine being at 192. I was a 42" waist when I started and I am am currently just below a 37". I am not sure what the average for a man is supposed to be, but for me this is a big difference. I have always exercised and worked out and I think it is more me trying to come to terms…

Hopefully this makes sense....today has been a rough one and tiring so it may not lol: I think it is that it makes me feel bad about not working out. I ignored the pain for a while (I am told it wouldn't have mattered if I stopped then or not), but once it became obvious I could either play with my kids OR work out, but…

No problem. Thanks.

Yeah the first pic they had changed the bulbs recently. What difference do you see?
-
Ah, never knew that.

Last Saturday I was 186. Today 191.5. I definitely didn’t eat enough to gain 6 pounds in a week, but each day it went up not down so would water weight/ bowls do that for an entire week?
-
I am weighing the morning. I should have said that earlier if that matters.
-
I need sleep
-
Is that not allowed? I didn't realize. I figured it's be better to update here then to start another thread about basically the same thing. My fault.
-
Just to update: January 1 I was 181.2. The weight keeps going up (this morning weight in at 190), but I also have not been "regular" in a while so I don't know if that is impacting it or not. I am always within my goal calories or at the very least maintaining weight so I doubt I would've gained 9 pounds in a month and a…

Interesting....never even thought it had any impact on weight.
-
I weigh myself in the mornings at the same time. Around the same time anyway lol.

I have always had issues with weight. When I was a kid I was chubby. In high school, between Junior and Senior year, I lost a lot of weight. I would play on multiple hockey teams with up to 3 games in one night 5-6 nights a week- then I would walk a lot after the third game most nights. I liked this 8 mile route I'd do and…

How is it pointless? Exercising without pain and being able to do 70 minutes on the machine without needing to stop here and there is a win to me. The discomfort was felt in the hamstrings, lower back, and gluteus.
-
Don't know. I've always gotten the same brand and style of sneaker when using the elliptical since they never caused me problems before. I have tried three different pairs since the discomfort started and had the same issue results.

lol. The 9 month old I was able to get my arm out no problem and she stayed a sleep. As the floor creaked a little though my 3 year old woke up asking "Is it morning? Can I play?"
-
I did like it, but it was more trying to get my arm out from under a sleeping 9 month old without waking her and erasing any plans I have to sleep tonight. You wouldn’t want to quote me even once if that happened.

Thanks for the replies. I think the boost is where it entered my head to ask. Haven’t had a bloated feeling like this in a while and it went right to my head as “how much damage did these two days do to my progress?”

I researched low impact exercises (as mentioned above) and I may try step aerobics. I found this: I may try doing home step aerobics 185-Pound Person If you weigh 185 pounds, you can burn about 622 calories doing step aerobics at a low intensity, or burn about 888 calories participating in high-intensity step aerobics for…

OP doesn't have much extra money with two small children, lol

does yoga burn calories? I was never sure about that.
-
Thank you. In high school (junior and senior year) and start of college I was 165lbs. I was heavy as a kid and then lost a lot of it. I was good until October 2004 when I hurt my knee at hockey. I was on crutches for 6 months and ballooned up. I never counted calories so I didn't realize how many I was taking in and much…

Sounds to me like he could be jealous that you're losing some weight and he hasn't gotten motivated to start trying himself.
