The weather cleared up and we made it out for our run afterall today :) fresh air does both mom and babies good.

Well, I was planning to start my week off with a run from the couch to 5k plan I'm working, but the weather is quite gross and rainy here this morning. Perhaps I will try an indoor workout from the FitStar app when my girls are napping later today.

Wow, yeah our goals and timeliness are very similar. We can totally do it. For me it's just the struggle of actually wanting to do it. I want to get back to my goal weight, but after long days and fussy babies I also want to eat lots of cookies :)

I did not plan for my meals and snacks this weekend and so did a lot of grazing on unhealthy stuff. Looking forward to better eating to start the week. My goal for the week is to break into the 150s (currently 160.8) at my end of week weigh in.

I work out three days a week. Mondays I put the girls (two and two months) in the stroller and do a Couch to 5k running plan. Wednesdays during their nap, I do a workout at home with the FitStar app. Fridays I take the girls in the stroller and we do a "Stroller Strides" workout, which is alternating 2-3 minute intervals…

I'm actually tandem breastfeeding my two year old and two month old currently. All.i.do.is.nurse. I was hoping all that breastfeeding would really help with the calorie burn, but apparently, not so much.

This will be my third time using MFP to lose weight. Originally lost 30 lbs in 2011 and kept it off until pregnancy with my first baby in 2013. Used it to lose the baby weight plus 10lbs more (total of 25lbs.) Kept it off until pregnancy with second baby. Been using it again for almost two months to get rid of this baby…

If by chance you are syncing MFP with FitBit, you can check a box for breastfeeding in your fitbit profile (it only shows you this option when looking at your account/profile online, not in the mobile app) and it will adjust your calorie burn accordingly and sync back with MFP.

I used MFP to lose 30 pounds and have maintained my weight loss for 11 months now. I'd like to start a C25K program just to give my exercise some purpose/end goal. Any specific website, program or app you all would recommend?
-
I've been maintaining since October. After I reached my goal weight, I pretty much stopped tracking my food intake with MFP. Not because I started going crazy and eating whatever I wanted, but because I had been doing it for 6 months and knew basically how much I should eat and now that I am maintaining i don't have to…

I'm in. But apparently not nearly as educated of work outer as I should be. Can you explain what those moves are? I mean I get jumping jacks and push ups and those traditional ones obviously, but I got nothing on swimmers' presses and 21s.

I was thinking the same thing! Thanks for stepping up and offering to do the totals. Tough to stay motivated in a competition when you don't know how the competitor's are doing.

2.56 miles for Team 1

Looking for team totals update for week two. Anybody?

2.6 miles for Team 1.

Just finished 2.85 miles for Team 1.

Finished 3.9 miles jogging tonight for Team 1.

Yay Team 1! I've got an aerobics class tonight so nothing I can measure in miles, but I'll see what I can do for the rest of the week. :)

I was a 36E. After I hit my goal weight, with 30 pounds lost, I'm a 34C. I'm happy they've shrunk, being an E was a huge hassle.
-
I'd love to do it. Can't wait to hear some details. Hubby and I love a good challenge :)

Hi Vicky, My tip would be don't try to change too much too fast. If you were a couch potato, you're probably going to be pretty miserable trying to work out five days a week. Ease yourself into the change so you will have a greater chance of not getting overwhelmed. Don't cut out all of your favorite junk foods, this too…

I would definitely say eat all your calories no matter what the nutrients are measuring. I personally never really paid close attention to those numbers and I have lost 30 pounds with MFP. The most important is overall calories.
-
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all 300 cal and I have a 150 cal snack twice a day.
-
I cook ours in a cast iron pan with a few tablespoons of soy sauce mixed with enough water to cover the pan in about 1/4" of liquid.
-
I totally concur. I reached my goal weight this week (30 pounds lost) and never gave up may favorites (cookies and ice cream) just ate less of them less often.
-
I think there may be room to squeeze in some exercise between 7pm and 9pm. A 20 -30 minute walk with baby in stroller would be a great start.
