I do think measuring food can trigger someone with a pre-existing ED or someone who has recovered from an ED. However, measuring food alone will not cause an ED. I'm eating at 1900, and I'll see if I lose this week. Previously, I was doing 1350 and eating back my exercise calories. Now, I'm trying a method of eating 1900 consistently (which is what I was averaging before anyways) and not logging my exercise. We will see how it goes lol. So far I've lost 15 lbs by netting 1350…

Thanks! Some great sugestions so far :) Unfortunately, bananas will not keep very long out int he desert. 1 day drive and 5 days in the desert. I'm thinking of making banana chips though :)

Well, I buy organic peanut butter and jelly, and it needs to be refrigerated. Which is why I'm asking about brands which do not need to be kept cool.. and if there are any with minimal preservatives and other yucky stuff :) If there isn't, then that's ok too

I've been losing weight by measuring in cups.. Which is not the most accurate way to do so. I was setting my net calories to below my BMR to give room for error just in case. I should be getting a kitchen scale soon though :)

I agree, and I am doing the same thing. I use the scale, measurements, and bf% to get an idea of where I am and where I want to go. Once I reach a certain weight, I am going to start a bulking cycle followed by another cutting cycle.

Well, if it was push ups / sit ups / squats, etc, then probably calisthenics, light/moderate effort. It it was kickboxing, then there is a kickboxing including turbo jam option If it's dancing, then there is a dancing option It's hard to say without knowing what type of workout the routine is

What you are already doing sounds about right. Try plugging those numbers into MFP and set your goal to lose .5 - 1lb per week. Wow health-calc put my TDEE about 1k higher than other websites When I averaged it out with 3 days intense and 4 days moderate, it came out to being 400 calories above what all other calculators have recommended.
