  • It takes awhile for people to notice when I lose weight too. I usually get remarks about my hair (for example: "Did you do something different to your hair"?) I want to say, "Yes I shrunk my body that is holding it up" Of course I don't say it but I sure think it :laugh:
  • My sister-in-law gave me this idea and it does work. Use powdered detergent to wash your sheets and towels. For some reason it makes them fresher than liquid.

  • I don't know if this applies anywhere else but in my state(California) it is now a requirement to show the nutritional information at any dining out establishment. The Applebees in my town has the nutritional info on the table. If you don't see it I would ask them for it.

  • I started out with 112 lbs to lose and then most recently when I started on this website I needed to lose 103 lbs. My last weight in puts me at about 88 lbs to go so I could use a lot of support. My only problem is I can only weigh every 6 weeks on the program I am doing. Could I be a part and only weigh in every 6 weeks?

  • What is Kettleworx? I have a few Kettlebell dvd's and two 10lb Kettlebells. I found a class in my area and it kicked my behind. I think it is a great workout and I felt the results were amazing. I have noticed that Biggest Loser is using them as part of their workouts.

  • I was shocked to hear HCG has come around again. It was very popular in the 1970's and I personally know of two people who ended up in the hospital because of this fad.   • I am not sure what this is. I belong to a gym and love using the elliptical. I do kettlebells at home. What ever you find that works to get you moving is great.
  • It is a weight loss program that is founded on Christian principles. There are some scriptures introduced but it is not preachy at all. It addresses food addictions.   • Hi Clovis: I am from Windsor, CA. I am on the Prism plan and I find this site very helpful. I am a grandmother of two grandsons and one granddaughter. They are all precious to me and like you they are a big motivation for me to take off the weight.
