I use shakes as a meal supplement when I'm running late or just not feeling well enough to eat. I haven't been able to do it everday. I get too hungry.

I love Quinoa because it has more protein than rice. I cook it like rice and use as a side dish. I am definitely going to try some of the posted recipes. :flowerforyou:

I used to work out with a friend of mine whose schedule I accommodated and she would either not show up at all or come really late because of some very lame excuses. If I wasn't able to make it I always let her know in advance and even then she would still be offended that she had to work out on her own. Life is not fair…

I love my bike! :heart: I live in a small town and I ride it everywhere. As soon as the weather is warm enough my bike comes out, gets a tune up, and off I go. :smile:

I keep dried apricots, unsweetened applesauce, and raw almonds sealed in a container in a cabinet above my desk. I also bring an insulated lunch bag with carrots, fresh fruit and some type of cheese ( it varies). I find that it helps me to have protein along with my fruit and veggies to keep me on track

Coffee with my 1-2 TB of 1/2 and 1/2. One cup daily. If I have Starbucks it is always tall non fat latte with 1 packet of Steevia and cinnamon.

I eat oatmeal at least 5 times a week. I put 1 cup water, 1/2 cup oats, cinnamon and a little vanilla in a bowl and microwave for 2 minutes. After it is cooked I add 4 ounces unsweetened applesauce, 1 tsp of Steevia, 1 TB of sliced almonds and 1/4 cup non fat milk. Delicious and healthy!

I just got one from Walmart for around $19.00. It works great and you can add foods and zero out to add other foods. I had a very old WW scale for years and it was great and just finally died.

My co-worker did this for over a year and lost over 100 pounds. She is very overweight and still needed to lose another 80 pounds. She maintained for awhile and then started gaining back the weight. She is now back to her original weight and probably a few more. If she could have stayed on some type of plan after losing…

Sorry I forgot my stats. Highest weight= 242 Originally started MFP =234 but got down to= 208 Took a break and have been back for almost two weeks. Started back at =226.6 and as of this morning =221.6 CW=221.6 GW for June=181.6 (Final GW=130)
