Hey RunRutheeRun, Thanks for your message. I may look a bit slim but I am happy with this. I work in offices and may spend the rest of my life between four walls and a screen so I will end up getting bigger at some point. Out of interest, you seem to enjoy running. How much do you run per week? Are you planning to attend…

Hey thorsmom01, This is exactly what I am doing at the moment. I am packing my food and have them on my draw. Before attending a meeting/talking to someone and I know it may last hours, I take a quick healthy snack. I have ended up doing this throughout the day/night. What I find the hardest is to eat behind a screen. How…

Hey kommodevaran, Thanks for your message. Setting up a structured meal plan is very tough whilst working. For example, if you have the habit to eat your lunch everyday at 1pm and you have a 2-3 hour meeting planned between 12:00 and 14:00, you are not going to say to your manager: "Sorry I am having my lunch everyday at…

I am quite motivated by obstacle races. I have seen some programs on line and guys are training every day.
-
It's actually 20 minutes of your HIIT so 1 hour a week (3 sessions)
-
I am not doing 1h30 hiit in a row. I am doing 30 minutes, three times a week

Salut, je suis francais. Je pense que tu devrais eviter d'envoyer ce genre de message....

Thanks for your comments. I usually run on the treadmill and have a proper pair of running. So I will try to keep with my routine
-
Thanks mate, so TDEE at 3050 kcal according to http://iifym.com using Harris Benedict method. What do you use to calculate your TDEE?
-
Thanks, it should keep me motivated.
-
I am not worried at all... I also think this is water retention. Getting back to my previous habits and see how it goes.
-
I also think this is water retention. We will see in the next weeks. And I dont get crazy because I gained a few pounds. I am 6.4 for 178 lbs (BMI: 21.5) so this is not a big deal if I gain a few pounds.
-
Because I think I still have a lot of things to learn... this is why I posted this topic
-
Honestly... I had an eating disorder last year. But now i think i know how the body works so i got rid of this eating order. As for the weight gain, i thought it was a water rention too. The next weeks will tell me if i am right.

Caloric deficit to loose fat? Diet is so hard... I am not used to restrict myself anymore...

Is it the best way to loose fat? I am trying to loose fat and tone my body.

Her BMI is 16.7... Even if she is happy with her body, this is not really healthy. It can be harmful for her.... I think she needs to put on weight... this is my view.

For me a good workout is when you cant barely move your arms or legs at the end.
-
Thanks mates. I will use 6 then
-
According to IIFYM, my TDEE is 2851 kcal with Mifflin-St Jeor: 1m94, 81 kg and train 6 times a week.
-
You gain 15kg on average on each routine within 6 months. That's definitely a good progress. Good work!
-
"Many people mean lifting until you cant complete another rep in semi OK for": In my view, this is the definition of training to failure.
-
So are you recommending to train to failure a few sets for each work out session? For people who want to bulk, gain muscle and strength. Is training to failure good?
-
Thanks, i will follow your advice. I will replace arm curls with dips and pull up. Any recommendations for my free weight session? Should i add something like kick back?
-
If the tricep is 2/3 of my arm. Why wouldn't I do more dips instead of chin up? In my, chin up works out the back, no?
-
Thanks for your advice mate. I will reduce arm curl then.
-
I usually find the music a good way of motivation. And you will see some progress in your goal, your motivation will be boosted!!
-
Thanks for your advice and the tip about the time under tension. I will try to increase in my work out routines. For the diet, I am planning to increase my calorie intake in the next weeks. But I made good progress recently: increase the load, need less time between sets :).
-
You will probably think this is psychological but I train biceps 3 times a week because I find my arms far too skinny and I want them to get bigger. What is tjrs? Ok for the food, I think I am going to increase my calorie intake. thanks for your advice
