  • I am a blue belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and love it. I train about three to four times a week. It is what has helped me get to where I am today.
  • OK I went the wrong way. This has me more determined to see what I can do next week. My eating habits have not been great and I have to increase my water. I will do this!!! SW - 207 CW - 209.
  • I think I got 60 actual crunches in yesterday but we do sit in a a group holding our legs off the ground and everyone has to say a little about how thier day went in jiu jitsu class. I have not go the balance down to hold it for a long time yet but boy does it work your abs. I logged my food and the rest of my exercise and…
  • Hi my name is Jen. I am 37 years old, married for 9 years and I am a mother of an 18 year old who is a senior in high school. I have a full schedule between my son's activities and my own. I work out in the morning before work and then I train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu three or four times a week. I would like to be able to…
  • I need to do this. I seem to have fallen off of some wagon in March. I think I will get back in it today and keep working. I seem to have hit a spot where my muscle is passing my fat so there is a constant weight but I'm getting smaller. I hate the scale right now.
  • Feel free to add me. I have had a rough month but I am back at it and determined.
  • So last week was a bust. I ended up with a cold and when I get sick I want to eat. This morning I was back at it at the gym. I am going to do this and make it to summer. The weather breaking would help.
  • I go out to eat once a week. Don't let one day take you down. There are six others days in the week and this was just one or two hours in a day. You have to have a free day every once in a while or you will find it harder to keep it going in the long term.
  • I just finished a 10 week challenge this week so it's time for a new one. Thanks for doing this group. 10 weeks is not that long to commit to at one time. Although I have committed to working out for two years now. Start weight 201.8 Goal weight 191.8 I know it's not much of a change but the muscle is taking over so my…

  • Great work!!! Time to do some more shopping!!!
  • Realized that when I was at the gym this morning it was my 7th workout since Monday morning.
  • Good one! Also from the mitten. More of the lower cuff area.
  • Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Regular gym Work Is there time for anything else? Oh wait, on the water in the summer.
  • I don't know if mine is motivation or a change of mind. This is not a short term change in my life. I am changing forever. I enjoy the small victories that add up to the big ones. Maybe if you stop thinking of this as a diet and a start to a healthy life that will help.
  • I use to get up in the morning and sit and watch the news before I would get ready for work. I now watch the news at the gym. I have very few days that I'm not at the gym before work now.
  • I have been doing situps, squats, and pushups all along my journey. I have been doing this for almost two years and I am just started to really see muscle definition. When you build muscle it takes more calories to move your body around in general.
  • I just sent your a friend request. Anyone else can add me also. We can all use lots of support.
  • Tiny town of Jones. Don't blink...wait you won't know you are driving through anyway. I do all of my workouts inside. Bike, Elliptical, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Yoga, Pilates to name a few. Feel free to add me.
  • Both of my parents are over weight and have high blood pressure. My father had a heart attack a few years ago. At 35 yrs old I had dangerously high blood pressure. With a teenage son I wanted to be here for a long time and be part of his life. I was also starting to get into a pattern of not being able to do anything…
  • Please feel free to add me. I do Brazilian Jiu Jitsu three times a week on top of my morning workout before work. I have my blue belt. I have a 17 yr old son. I am married, work full time, and I am a student working on my Organizational Leadership degree. I hope that I can encourage people to keep going. I have been…
  • Great Job on taking the first step. It has to be hard to put all of these feelings out there for complete strangers to read. I hope you make it through and get to where you need to be.
  • We are going to have to try this one. Sounds yummy
  • You will get there if you keep working. I promise from experience. Sit ups and push ups...you could forget that when I started. Doing anything longer than 5 minutes and I felt like I was going to die. I can now get on the bike or do the elliptical for 40 minutes. I am finding that I can move in directions that I couldn't…
  • Just go and do it!! You know you will feel GREAT when you are done. Just because you are close doesn't mean the race is going to be over. It means you will have a new challenge of maintaining.
  • Yep this is totally my life. My husband is 6' and weights 165lbs. He eats anything he wants to eat and doesn't gain a pound. I think I could just eat whatever he was eating. He didn't seem to care or say anything. I know I am smaller than when we got married but not yet to the size when we met. I am alot more fit than I…
  • I'm in. I have been using the app for a while but just really started to use the web this year. I am more committed than ever.
  • Hi Nikki, I have arthritis in my feet and hands. When I wake up in the morning it is painful to move them. My feet on the other hand (no pun intended) do not bother me anything like they did when I started my journey. I was also tired all the time but I have found that the more exercise I get the more energy I have. I…
  • It will happen. One day you will run into someone that you have not seen in a while and they will notice. Sometimes it happens on they day you think everything is going wrong to perk up your day.
  • I use to get up and sit and watch the news in the morning and eat my breakfast. Now I have my gym bag packed at night before I go to bed. I have my gym clothes laid out so all I have to do is get up and go. I watch the news on the elliptical now. I eat breakfast at work right before the beginning of my day. It helps me…
