 I think I liked it when I was unfamiliar and everyone ignored me.

Hmm, your accurate logging seems to have been just for about five days. You've got a very low cal Indian on Saturday 30th August  Also, your exercise calories may be over-estimated a little. I think what you've been doing the last few days just needs to go on a bit longer.

Seems ok to me. There's the odd item that's a "cup" or "1 serving" and nearly everything you weigh seems to be in multiples of 5g. You didn't log everything last Friday and Saturday though. What happened then?

I don't do the TDEE method, I may do in the future. I know it's not what you asked for, but I thought I'd share this calculator though, http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/

There's a female PT at my gym, but she's never really around when I am. I've seen her doing individual sessions though. All of other female staff seem to just do classes. Oh, and one of them does sports massage, I've had one, and it was fab. They all seem to have their pet philosophies - only drink whole milk, only drink…

Psych you squatted my body weight today - great numbers

I respectfully disagree with this. I am a similar age and height to MrsS and also started off on 1200. I ate back my exercise calories and lost 2lb every week.

You could open your diary or, if you'd rather not, befriend a couple of us and we can take a look.

Canadianlbs - we are at such a similar place right now. I have two enforced rest days now due to work commitments.

Day 13 Squat 95.5lb 5x5 Bench 50lb 5x5 for the first time - woohoo! Rows 57lb 5x5 deloaded to improve form The rest day and eating more are definitely paying off, but I wish I could go every day.

I'm 5'6 and 132lb. The last couple of weeks I've gone up from 1600 to 1800 calories trying to find maintenance and still losing about a half to a full pound a week. Once a week I go over my calories with a big meal. I try to limit Spin to two times a day, yoga once or twice and strength training three times a week. I…

Plan the food you crave in to your day in advance (I have a small chocolate bar nearly every evening). Drink lots of water (I set a timer to drink a beaker of water every hour). Distract yourself. Go to the gym.

8) Female posters do not exist to meet your demands to private message you naked shots of themselves. And even if you don't believe this, but just make jokes about it, you're still coming across as creep.
-
Brilliantly informative and compassionate post! I'm really taking a message from this about over-training. Thank you.
-
I didn't say you weren't female.
-
This is pretty much my experience - great support, inspiring diaries and achievements. I don't accept requests from people who don't include a message though, I think that this helps.

It was in reference to your picture rml.

No Ted, it doesn't require graduate level of education, just basic socialisation.

Perhaps you're new to mixed company and will soon learn that not everyone finds rapey, creepy comments funny but rapey and creepy.

When you refused to believe that she didn't see this as a dating site and no, she didn't mean to sound big-headed.
-
That sounds worryingly as though you believe "no means yes".
-
Come on, we all know that's not their motivation either.
-
You want support via your wall. They want to pm you and use chat software. Prioritise what you want and set your boundaries. Do not worry about being rude to the point that you end up communicating in a way you have neither time for, nor feel comfortable with.
-
Aye, I was equally as rude. I don't think it's helpful to use "girl" when you mean "woman" and I thought that the idea that women don't have the willpower to fast is just silly. Your OP was too "cool girl" for me to take seriously.
-
This site isn't for girls, you have to be over 18 to be a member. "Girls aren't known for their willpower"? Spare me.
-
Oily fish, avocado, dried fruits, oil in salad dressing? I understand your dilemma, I'm a bugger for spending spare calories on biscuits and crisps.
-
That last paragraph is spot on Canadian. As a beginner, I listen and listen and listen to go along with all of the watching and reading I do at home. But after a couple of times you start to realise that there's a tonne of contradictions going on.
-
Thank you for taking the time to explain, and I admire you raising your children to respect others, irrespective of what they happen to be wearing that day. 1) I'm not sure how any person can dress in way that makes them responsible for the reactions of others though. I'm thinking of Sophie Lancaster and Robert Maltby…
-
Sorry I was unclear. I was surprised that an adult would accept their mother or husband making negative comments about their clothing.
-
Ah, implied violence over how women dress. Where have I heard that before? Tali-something...
