Do the exercise without going along with the video. Then you can take your time and practice your form. It helps, trust me ;)

Honestly, I don't pay much attention to those because MFP does not separate bad sugars (corn syrup, etc.) from good/natural sugars (lactose). I wouldn't worry about it.

My gym is like hook-up central. A lot of twenty-somethings who pretend to workout while checking out the opposite sex. I pay them no mind and just do what I am there to do, exercise!!

Yes, but when you get to the part when you can do alll of the push-ups, you'll feel great! I made it halfway through level 2 and then found I couldn't get up early enough to do it anymore. I really need to get started on it again!

Welcome Chris! You'll find a lot of great info, great advice and great friends here. My friend request is on it's way!

I'll second skinnytaste. Someone mentioned it in a post I read and I love it!

Hi, I have no idea what Body Pump is (LOL) but I can relate to your post. It is amazing what our bodies can do when we make them! You made no excuses and pushed yourself to where you are today. Well done! My journey started this year when my mother signed us up for Zumba. That first class kicked my butt!! But now I love it…

there are tons of posts about this but, yes you need to eat your execise (bonus) calories. Your body needs a minimum of 1200 calories daily just to function. HTH

Just to clarify, my sansha shoes have suede bottoms, no tread. Think I ordered the wrong ones!

I have tried 3 different sneakers/shoes for zumba and I'll tell you about them. It really depends on the floor 1) Reebok cross trainers - too much friction for dance floor and mat 2) Sansha dance shoes, awesome on a mat but way too slippery on a dance floor. I had a hard time squating while trying to keep for slipping. 3)…

Great job, Hon! You should feel so proud of yourself. Keep it up!

And we are here to support, motivate and help. Glad to see that you have taken the first step. It just takes dedication to get there and realize that it will take time. But as long as you hang in there and give it your all, you can do it.! My friend request is on it's way

GTL!! Seriously though, I get free tanning with my gym membership so I use it. I also get SAD so it helps on a cloudy cold day. Those are my reasons, anyway!

1520 here - mine is set at 1 lb a week Kudos to you ladies at 1200..I think I would starve lol And major kudos to skwilson1990- That is an amazing weight loss!

Me neither. Well, I can cook some things but I hate to cook. I stick to the frozen Healthy Choice meals and protein bars. People can say they are bad choices but sometimes they are all that some folks got lol!
-
Count me in! I haven't been in any challenges yet :( I could use one
-
Amazing progress, hon! Keep it up and you'll be where you want to be in no time
-
You look fabulous! Good job, hon!

Sorry I have to agree with Tavistock! Weighing your self every day will drive you crazy and make you over analyze every little thing you do when daily fluctuations in the scale have nothing to do with what you are doing/not doing.
-
I definitely find it easier to get through my workouts in the evenings as opposed to the morning.
-
My Wii fit usually says I'm more than my scale! LOL. Mine is on carpet, though ,so I know it's not accurate. I would go with your scale since that is what the scale was designed for while the Wii Fit was not :) Good luck
-
A great reminder, thanks! And congrats on your amazing weight loss!!
-
Thes reason it is so far under is because at a 2 lb a week weight loss - you have to create a 7000 calorie/week deficit or 1000 calories a day. If you set it it to 1 lb that would give you an extra 500 calories a daye, etc.

I'm on Day 2 of Level 2. Some of the exercises now are harder and some are easier. I can def tell that my endurance and strength is a lot better from when I first began! Good luck
-
I've heard of drastic measure to lose weight but piercing your tongue is ridiculous!! I'm just kidding ;) At least I hope you didn't do it just to lose weight.. Good luck
-
Started Level 2 today and while it is harder with the planks, I just feel determined to be able to do them easily by the time I'm done! LOL I have 5 days til vacation so I'm gonna try to do this all week and then start level 2 over when I get back. How is everyone else doing?
-
AWesome job so far, keep it up!! Btw, love the backdrop in your first photo!

I can't view your diary (do you have it on "private"?) but I suspect that you are not eating enough to fuel your body with all the exercising you are doing. Make sure you are eating back at least some of your exercise calories if not all of them. Good luck! ~Donna
