Hi, all! i'm 35, 5'2and at 154. I want to get to 130lbs. The past 2 years had been really rough on me on the personal/family/life side and I just let it get me off my game. I just realized the ohter day that that's life. So let's get living and doing what I want to want to do.

You can totally do this. You definitely got this! I do have one question, though, what are you eating and what other work outs are you doing besides the C25K? Might not need a ton of changes just a couple of tweaks and thn you'll start to see results!

Let's do it ladies! Friend me as well! :)

lol

I think you're a little low on carbs but the slow-digestive/complex carbs like sweet potatoes and other root veggies like that. I would swap out some of the bread for something like brown rice or quinoa, especially around lunch time.

I agree with skinnytaste.com I'm going to Youtube leansecrets now! That sounds intriguing!

OK. I take it you don't want to do the challenge? LOL! :) Also, I've read in more authoritative articles that if you're thirsty then you're already dehydrated. It won't make you look 10 years younger, no, but I think it will make you a healthier person by far! :) :drinker:

I'm still here and still doing the program! :) What parts re you struggling with? :(
-
Oh wow that's wonderful!!! I need to try that out! Thanks for that heads up!!!

If you really like your cardio and want the challenge, I really enjoyed Turbofire. Also, I love Piyo-- it may not seem like that big of a challenge at first, but it certainly is! You get your cardio and reistance training in one. I agree with the other posters about P90X3. Definitely give that a try. It's great.

It sounds like your goals are to tone and tighten up the core. If time is an issue and you already got your nutrition on lock, then I would say that T25, which will eventually incorporate the weights, is a good place to start, although it is quite intense. 21 Day Fix is great in that it focuses on both nutrition and…

How is your daily water going, gang? I admit I was not as high as it should have been earlier this week but I'm determined to get it in today!

I discovered that a great way to get some veggies in as a snack: those small sweet peppers. I got a whole batch of them for around 4 bucks at the store and just ate a few just now as a snack and I feel full (in a good way!) hooraayy!

That's right! Not too late to join in! Jump in when you can, ask us a bunch of questions and get some recipe ideas!

Today I drank around 64 oz. I really need to get that number up!!!

The outer leg is definitely my weaker spot, which is why I really like it!!! Great workout today! Loved it!

That's awesome you lost that much weight in a week! That's wonderful! I have to agree with you--- I do like this program a lot. I'm certainly more conscious of my food and everything!!! :)

Today was a good workout! I actually spent 45 minutes practicing Piyo for a class I'm going to eventually teach so I think that helped loosen some things up! But the Lower Fix was still a killer! Those quad exercises and the squat-leg raises ALWAYS gets me!! How did everyone else do? :)

Ooohh, those sound soooo good!!!!! Thank you for sharing!!

myespen --- highly suggest you swap out those egg whites with hard boiled eggs and then add on another tsp of peanut butter or almond butter. Also, I would up with a half thing yellow of carbs (like sweet potato/yams). That will help with the energy level. I think if you do two of those three suggestions you should be up a…

Hey, jewelsnyc -- I hope you feel better! Just experiment on when you should eat before you head to the gym. Sometimes too much movement on a kind of full stomach can make things a little bad. And good for you on the soda free challenge for 21 days! When I'm in the mood for soda, I just get some seltzer water and put some…

Surrenders really got me too!! Wooo! And I'm glad she puts them at the beginning of the workout! hahaha!!!

Great job everyone! I was able to do the veggie stifry mix and get a bunch of chicken baked. Super happy and it made today a success!

For weekend breakfasts, I'll be honest, I keep it pretty simple with a shake (Shakeology with some fruit) and some oatmeal. I usually make an egg frittata for the week on Sunday and have a bit of that (like your veggie and egg saute, but with a ton more veggies and throw them in a casserole dish and bake it for 30 min...…
