When I plateau, like most people that replied, I suspect my calories IN and calories OUT calculations are off. Sometimes, I will stop exercise for 7 days, so I have no calories OUT to track. This simplifies tracking, and if I begin losing, I know I've over estimating calories burned. If don't begin losing, the next step…

Belviq (lorcaserin HCI) is FDA approved weight loss drug. I know about it because I told a specialist I saw for my eye, I had lost 40 lbs, and she asked if I used Belviq to lose it. I did not, caloric deficit works, and you don't need a prescription!

If I was you, I'd sit this one out, look for a 10K race after T-day, recoop & then get back to training for the next race. That's my delayed not denied approach. There is no disappointment to deal with, if you have another race to run. Best of luck

Don't feel so bad... Lots of people gain the weight back. They do great at deficit, reach goal, and then fail to track in maintenance mode, and gain it all back. This time around, when you reach goal weight, track in maintenance mode, no biggie

My favorite is a generic, Kroger Big K Dr. K Ten. I think it's better than Dr Pepper Ten. They also have Big K Citrus Drop Ten...it's like a Ten version of Mt Dew, very nice.

I was unhappy healthy. I had way too much energy and nothing to do. Using food as entertainment and abusing it as a sedative, solved both problems.
