I make cacciatore in the crock pot. I use this recipe and throw it all in the crock pot: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/keith-youngs-chicken-cacciatore-recipe/index.html Also always a huge hit at my house "crock Os" (crock pot chicken tacos) 3 chicken breast (skinless boneless) two packets low sodium organic taco…

Trader Joes high fiber Os, they do actually taste good! I put a little honey on top. :) yum.

me too  OP glad that you like a woman that isn't so cookie cutter stickly thin. She is a very pretty woman, but she's too soft for MYself. I like to be more muscular. Honestly, I don't care if men like my build because I do and that is all that matters

ohh my dear, I took a peek at your food diary. While I get that you are sticking to low carb ( I'm not going to argue with you on that choice; it's your choice) you might want to try tracking more than one nutrient. How about eggs for breakfast with avocado? Try adding in a few higher calorie snacks like a handful of…

OP, doing lunges and squats will help shape muscle in your legs. And I don't mean 10-15 reps, I mean getting down and dirty and doing them until your completely fatigued. Often people will stop when it starts to burn thinking that is enough, but it's not you need to push through it and keep going. Also, running or…

I LOVE balsamic vinegar! I use it in my homemade salad dressing, in my chicken marinade, on potatoes, butter but squash, meatloaf, and many more Salad Dressing: (for an 8 cup bowl) I tbls olive oil, 1 tbls balsamic vinegar, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, and pepper sorry I never measure). Chicken marinade: rub…

Agree^^ Was the book "performance nutrition for runners" ? If so ( love that book BTW) it's more for runners covering longer distances. A great read all the same though.

It sounds like you have be responsible thus far that is a great way to start. Quite often people start out in debt and that's a bad place to be. I highly recommend the book by Dave Ramsey; just to get some great ideas for staying out of debt and money management. I believe the rule of thumb for rent/house payment (at least…

Just watch your sodium the rest of the day. Bacon (I don't eat it because I don't eat pork) is actually considered a fat. Enjoy your once a week bacon splurge!

The movements are very slow, so probably less than you would walking slowly.

My husband does Tai Chi and Kung Fu. He has done it for 18 years. He loves it and it's a fantastic workout. It can have nothing or everything to do with religion. It's your choice just like yoga. I'm willing to bet that my runs are more spiritual than half the yoga and Kung Fu classes out there. We are not Christians…

Well I like to argue so NO,

^^ Well said. This whole thread is full of misguided 1/2 accurate information. I'm 5'2 and lost on a 1200 kcal (+ some exercise calories) diet. If you were below 5ft you would (most likely as there are many factors here) need to lower your caloric goal. 1200 isn't a magic number. Also, I just want to point out that height…

He wouldn't be able to hurt you if you didn't allow him to. Don't respond to his efforts to contact you and let it go. Unless you two had a physical relationship I don't think it's worth hurting his wife. JM2C.

^^ Couldn't agree more; especially with the first sentence. Your not a child telling yourself you are not allowed to have such and such items; your adult that makes the choice to be healthy. You will have much more success with maintaining your loss if you learn this mentality. Good luck.

Sure can! Great Job Katie keep it up! :flowerforyou:

I only asked because Biotin deficiencies are rare. :) A UL hasn't been estb. for Biotin. supplements so stick with the minimum. Look on the back of the bottle of your calcium; Calcium citrate is best absorbed. Split your dose to twice a day (if bottle says take two pills take one in the AM and one in the PM). Also, fiber…

Ohh my.... Yes you can have too much of any nutrient. I urge you (and everyone) to only take supplements if you truly need them. Get a blood test. Iron anemia symptoms can mirror many other deficiencies. The side effects of iron overdose/ toxicity can be serious to your health. Can I ask why you are taking Biotin, and what…

I fully agree with this. However don't let him think you are desperate needy, or become obsessed. Just shoot him back a text and take it slow.

OHGOSH you look 15 years younger at least! Fantastic!

I just canceled mine, but it was 30/mo no contract. Snap fitness (it's a franchise). I canceled because I have everything I need at home. I hadn't been in months and it seemed silly to keep paying for the off chance I wanted to go. :)

I do bruschetta, endive boats (endive with pesto and tomatoes), brie with pepper sauce and pita chips ( um maybe not low fat  but yummy ;) ) Salsa with veggy sticks, smoked salmon. Really it depends on what the rest of your menu items are?
